Son of a.... The game just robbed me of a goal.
I take a shot, the keeper defects it out. I have a guy on the wing who gathers it and shoots. Hits a defender and deflects into the net, its in. Its a goal. But the game then calls a penalty because the ball apparently hit his arm when it defected off him. So I take the penalty and the keeper saves it. I was robbed. I am so angry right now.

So I battled almost all season just to stay in and around 6th place. We pulled it off in the end and finished in 6th. Which was the last spot for EURO League. We had a good run at the end as we played 5 of the worst teams in our last 5 games. And by that I literately mean the bottom five teams. But we were only 8 points behind first place. And we had a crap load of injuries down the stretch, so I'm not sure how we won those games. Was playing youth players to fill for sub spots as our roster was pretty depleted.

We also some how made it to the semi finals of Deutscher Pokal and lost to Bor. Dormund 1-0. Up to that point though we played teams in the 2. Bundesliga. So that is probably how we got that far. And surprisingly, Bayer 04 beat Bor. Dortmund 4-2 in the final.

Bor. Dortmund beat Athletico Madrid in the Copa Europe. Real Madrid beat Liverpool in the Champions Cup final. And Inter won the Euro League final.

1899 Hoffenheim beat FC St. Pauli in the promotion trophy game to stay in the Bundesliga. 1. FSV Mainz 05 and 1860 Munich (short run for them, they gained promotion with us last season) are being relegated. And FC Augsburg and 1. FC K'lautern are both returning on promotion after being relegated last season.

I kind of want to leave this as Madden comes out in a few days. But I am still so addicted and I want to see how my young players turn out.

Yassine Benzia is the absolute truth. I've had him since Season 1 of my Arsenal/Football League 2 CM and he may have single handedly gained promotion for me every single year. Currently 31 games into Championship League and he's 77 OVR with 30 goals, 8 assists.

I started a career with the NY red Bulls, and simmed to 8/20/14 (when I started it) I signed a few minor free agents for depth. The CPU controlled team has made it to the Finals of the US Open Cup, where we will face the LA Galaxy in the first week of October. Now, we're in the end of September, having a tie with LA Galaxy and winning two straight against Columbus and Washington. I think we face Houston/Chicago before the US Open Cup Final. My goal is to be the manager of the US Men's National Team for the World Cup. I've turned down several World Cup offers; Venezuela, Northern Ireland and Norway.

I just won the US Open Cup over the LA Galaxy 6-3, thanks to Bobby Convey, Wright-Phillips (Player of The Competition) and the rest of my starters for the Final: Struna, Olave, Miazga, Eckersley, Bover, Keat, Sekagya, Henderson, Steele.

Got fired from Leeds United about halfway through my second season. Got picked up by Crystal Palace, who was relegated to the Championship League. Just missed out on promotion in my first full season with them.

I've built a really nice, young squad at CP:

GK - Oliver Baumann (78 OVR):
Just signed him in the first transfer window of my second season with CP. Cost me $7,000,000, but he's only 26 years old. Not bad for a solid keeper.

RB - Jack Hunt (78 OVR):
Already at CP, but he's come into his own. Only 25 years old, so I'll look to hang on to him.

RCB - Adrian Mariappa (74 OVR):
Looking to upgrade here. Mariappa is almost 30 years old and is just average talent. He's also undersized as a CB at 5'10".

LCB - Arlind Ajeti (74 OVR):
Another player already at CP when I arrived. He's only 22 years old and is really athletic at 6'0". Definitely hanging on to him.

LB - Joel Ward (76 OVR):
Good size at 6'2", but I might look to slide him to CB due to his lack of speed. Maybe I'll look for a new full back and move Mariappa to my bench.

RM - Ryo Miyaichi (77 OVR):
Just a stud at RM. Bought him during my first season with CP and my gosh is he quick. Can't seem to stay healthy though, but his speed is too much to pass up (96 ACC, 97 Speed, 98 Agility). Plus, he's only 23.

RCM - Campaña (77 OVR):
Pretty good CM for only being 23. He's not fast, but he plays in control and with efficiency.

LCM - Barry Bannan (73 OVR):
Not my strongest player ratings-wise, but he plays like a maniac on the pitch. He's just average athletically, but his ball control and passing is great.

LM - Adnan Januzaj (76 OVR):
At only 21 years old, this kid is already one of my top players. He has nice speed and size, and his ball skills are great. His low stamina is crippling though (only a 50 stamina rating).

RS - Romelu Lukaku (80 OVR):
Just a flat-out beast. Only 23 years old, left-footed, 6'3", 207, strong, fast. He led the league in goals last season for me and probably will do it again.

LS - Iacopo Ricciardi (75 OVR):
Kid I scouted at Leeds, I had to buy him back as soon as I took the CP job. Bought him for $11M when he was 17. He's been my starting striker since he was 16. Dude is the Italian Messi. Only 19 years old, he's 5'7", but his speed is steadily climbing up to the high 80s. He's the perfect compliment to Lukaku.

Now my goal is to get promoted and avoid getting fired after I've built this team with one bright-*** future.

Well. Its time to pack up FIFA 14. Gonna hit Madden up for a few weeks. And then probably check out Destiny before FIFA 15 hits.
