    Global Transfer Netwok Help

I have FIFA 14 on PS4 and am doing a career mode but have no idea how this Global Tansfer Network works. Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to use it or is their a really good write up on it online. Im usually really good at the other aspects of career mode just not this.

Yeah, it's confusing as hell, innit.

Here's how I think it works...

    1. The scout's nationality means nothing. Send whoever to wherever, but I personally send my more experienced and capable guys to the better soccer countries (England, Spain, Germany, etc).
    2. When you define your instruction sets (up to 6), they will be followed by all of your scouts simultaneously.
    3. After your scouts find guys based on your criteria, have them scout the players deeper to improve the probable attribute range.
    4. Your scouts can scout multiple guys at once. How many depends on their level.
    5. If your scout says he's found all he can in a certain country, but he's doing deeper scouting on players, do not relocate him until he's done, otherwise he'll never finish.
    6. You can choose up to 6 criteria per each of the 6 instruction sets for your scouts to base their searches on. If you find you're not getting many hits, your search may be too specific. Try dropping some criteria.
    7. On the other hand, if you're being flooded with more results than you can keep track of, try being a little more specific.
    8. Your youth scout is completely independent of your other scouts.
    9. The better the scout, the higher quality players found, and the more accurate the attribute report.
    10. It's important to buy the best scouts you can afford, but be sure to save some money for some players, too. No sense in scouting if you can't afford to transfer anyone.

    11. I'm pretty sure this is all accurate, but since I've never found any real concrete instructions, I reserve the right to be wrong. Good luck.

Another thing: Don't wait til the last day in the transfer window to start transfer negotiations with a team. There's usually a little back-and-forth negotiating and, if you don't leave yourself enough time, you won't finish before the window closes. I'd recommend starting about 4 or 5 days before the end of the transfer period.

Also: Taking a guy on loan for a year can be a good alternative to committing to a contract, especially if you have a promising up-and-commer on loan to another club. When your guy comes home, maybe he'll be ready to assume the spot after your borrowed player returns to his home club.

You're more than welcome, but I'm really still a noob, too. Just a lot of trial and error.
