I saw this thought I would post this here

Expansion draft is reportedly in December, so not quite sure how that's going to work. Would not be surprised if they (and NYCFC) are added eventually, but November seems implausible

Awesome. I may actually do a Career with NYC when they get added into the game. I'd like to learn a little more about the MLS since it's growing so much in the US.

I don't think you would be able to do a career with them, even if they're added to the game in an update. If i recall correctly, when they added Vancouver in an update a couple years ago, they were not available for career mode and only in the rest of world teams.

Before you begin your career, you can swap teams in and out of leagues. The downside of course is that another MLS club would have to be moved to 'Rest of World' for Orlando SC or NYCFC to be added.

Yea, those teams don't have rosters yet, so they won't be included until Fifa 16. The Creation Centre is a must for me. No reason to not have it in 15.

Benfica, and all over. Molino just scored 20+ this season, and has an MLS contract. Idk if you meant we dont have a "mls roster" whatever that means, we have a roster and went undefeated against MLS teams this year until 3rd round US Open.

Benfica, and all over. Molino just scored 20+ this season, and has an MLS contract. Idk if you meant we dont have a "mls roster" whatever that means, we have a roster and went undefeated against MLS teams this year until 3rd round US Open.

Sadly those annoying Islanders knocked us out of the playoffs.
Unfortunately, expansion teams didn't make it.

This is what he's talking about. We only have 7 players signed to MLS contracts. 7 players is not even close to a full roster.

So what would happen if we tried to start a career with either one of those teams? We'd have to fill out the team manually before playing a game? Or are they just going to be filled out already with random players?

Knowing EA, they probably didn't remember that there's only a handful of players on each team and will probably push the date back until they have a full roster.

That's the question, however, I have no hope for the possibility of career mode considering EA's past with expansion clubs. If they do I will buy it. So far my contacts with EA only said they were working to get the teams in similar to 2012, that was via chat and email. All they had to do was put them generically into the league then make a patch for kit updates. Now as it stands it would be more work to make them work as proper career mode squads. The only glimmer of hope is that I play on PC and the modding community is amazing, but there isn't a lot of love for MLS. We'll see.

Something I just noticed; FUT 15 already has NYCFC and Orlando City built into the search engine. Which is nice.

I remember way back in NBA Live 95 on SNES they had the Raptors in and it was just a bunch of fake players on the roster. Maybe they do that?
