I was wondering if there is a time of the year that I might see more job offers from top leagues?

Re: When to look for new job?
Depends, sometimes euro teams get off to rough starts and immediately want to sack their manager. I've been able to be hired by Monaco three months into a career with Watford, and the next spring Arsenal (I saved the Monaco career under a different save file after being hired, same with the Arsenal one). The best timing really is February-March though, when the final standings are beginning to come into light. -

I can't remember what team I was, possibly Palermo but Arsenal offered me their manager job about 2 months into my career. I was in disbelief because I didn't apply for the job and it was super early in the season. Thats been the only time I've ever had a club ask me If I wanted to be their manager.Comment

Re: When to look for new job?
Related to the OP's question, is starting off with a MLS team something of a handicap?
Compared to the European clubs it is pretty boring, but the lack of a actual domestic cup means fewer accomplishments right? Or is there no such thing as manager "prestige" and all that matters is club rating? What I mean is what determines the job offers I receive?Comment

I believe meeting or exceeding your Board's goals for a couple of seasons should get you on the radar."The only time you loosen your hands around an opponent's throat is to get a better grip."

Usually right after your last season game there will be openings. Some EPL teams sack early and often though. In one of my careers Arsene Wenger was sacked midway through the season.INACTIVEComment
