FIFA 14 (and 15 I suppose) manager question

For anyone who plays manager, you know one of the ways to make money, other than winning tournaments, is to sell star players who are in form for big money.

Now, in FIFA 13 it may have been a bit over powered. For example, I was in the MLS as Portland and acquired Will Bruin. Over the next 2 seasons, I got him around 23ish goals each year, and his value went WAY up. I managed to tell him for around $10 million I think.

Now I tried this in FIFA 14, but I don't think it's to the same effect. Or maybe I'm just mistaken. Their value went up slightly, but not nearly as much. So my question is, is this to the same effect in FIFA 14?

And do you think it will have as big an impact as FIFA 15?

Value in 14 seems to be based off age/ovr + production.

You can have a 30 year old rated 70 that scores 20 goals but he will only be valued at around 2-3 million. But if you have a 22 year old rated at 70 and he scores 20 goals, he will be valued at around 10-15 million. The game seems to take long term value into account. But regardless of what the value is, you can always sell them for much more if they are preforming and in great form.

Ah okay that makes sense. Yeah I suppose a younger one performing like that would be valued more simply because he will only get better and last longer.

      Thanks!
