Re: FIFA 15 Demo Gameplay Impressions
My goal keeper, Simon Mignolet got red carded early in a match and the game wouldn't let me sub another one in for him. I tried putting in position players for him too, but it was a no-go. Hopefully that's not an issue in the retail. I had to back out to the dashboard and restart it.Comment

Re: FIFA 15 Demo Gameplay Impressions
I love the cosmetic stuff...getting the uniforms correct for all of those different leagues. Getting all of those players in the database. All good. But damnit, the gameplay, physics, and player models all took a step back this year, based on the demo. Every year, EA throws us some crap that no one really cares about (Ooh, look, the corner flag moves sometimes!), and continues to ignore gameplay. The CPU's style of play has sucked and hasn't changed in...forever. Damn you, FIFA15. And I was so excited...Comment

Re: FIFA 15 Demo Gameplay Impressions
I've really enjoyed the demo, since it's release i haven't touched FIFA 14, the only issue i have is the keepers are a bit hit and miss, sometimes they're great and others you're left sitting there thinking "Did that really just happen?" but all in all i'm very excited for the full game, however it's reported that the demo is only a 60% build of the game, the version at gamescom was further along (90%) so except a difference when it's released, the crowds look and sound great, the little cut scenes are cool and it looks like finally the impact engine will help the game and not hinder it like previous FIFA's, lots of new animations and as a Premier League fan it's great to have the full license for itComment

Re: FIFA 15 Demo Gameplay Impressions
I'm not a fan of the shooting in the demo, unless I just haven't got used to the angles compared to 14.
Is it just me that thinks the keepers are a little too good? I'm liking the general gameplay though, impressed overall.Supporting Leeds United, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Lions and the Colorado Avalanche!

Re: FIFA 15 Demo Gameplay Impressions
Quick question... is there a way to do like a touch pass? Like when you have two players that are just a couple of feet apart, is there a way to do a really light pass between the two of them? Sometimes I'll pass the ball into the middle and I'll have a teammate running right off another player's shoulders pretty much and I just want to tap it on to that guy because he has a better look at the net, but doing a regular pass it's almost impossible to kick it light enough to pull that off.
Is this what the "finesse pass" function is for?NFL: Bills

Just tap A ever so lightly, and it'll just barely come off your foot. But if you're using assisted passing, maybe that's why it doesn't seem to be working.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Are you using manual passing? I was actually going to post that in here, but I don't think I got around to it. I love the fact that you can do little touch passes to a guy standing right next to you.

Re: FIFA 15 Demo Gameplay Impressions
Another thing I have noticed, lightly tapping A works best for a back heel when you just want a subtle redirection to another player. But if you're facing forward and just want to guide it over to a player making a run right next to you, I think a light tap of Y works bette.rUniversity of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Re: FIFA 15 Demo Gameplay Impressions
Yea that is still going to happen in the retail version. If you don't know soccer then here is a lesson. If any player gets a red card then that player is out for the rest of the game and obviously where said player has been ejected he can't be replaced by any other player. Also he is suspended for his teams next game in that tournament. For example, if it was a BPL game where that happened then Mignolet would not play in the next BPL game but he could play in Liverpool's next Champions League game. Also how did your goalie get a red card? I have only seen a goalie get a yellow once in real life. And that was Tim Howard this weekend.
I think you are missing his point. If I get a red card, I will move the red carded player to striker (regardless of who gets the red card). I find this to be lest obtrusive to my playing style.
OP is saying he can't sub another GK into a different position and then move said GK to the GK position on the field.
This should be pointed out to EA. That's an oversight. I don't understand why you couldn't move a field player into goal, if you wanted.Southern Miss-SouthamptonComment
