The fact that you can't even load your offline save is unacceptable. I couldn't even start my indie PS4 games during the DDOS Attack, even though They're offline.

players are more valuable than a stack of coins in your account right now. it sucks the market is pretty much ruined this year.
It is quite true. The inflation seems to be already starting this year, last year it started around the end of May-ish. Our only hope is that perhaps EA will release 50-100k packs more regularly from now until TOTS, or perhaps a huge pack week during St. Patrick's, but even then, that's nearly two months away.

So who here buys coins? I'm considering it and I'm aware of the risk of violating their ToS, but I feel like I got no other way to compete with these overpowered teams. I'm only in div9 and facing the prospect of relegation with my underdog squad unless I adopt the "can't beat 'em, Join 'em" philosophy.

The players with those TOTY/IF teams are pretty bad, most of them play like Stoke City(long balls after long balls) and don't take advantage of the technically gifted players they buy. Also, they're stuck in Div. 9 for a reason, with that being said, perhaps you just need to polish up on defending as those opponents aren't the hardest to beat. I don't know how much coins you have, but the league that has the cheapest quality players is the Italian Serie A, they're decent enough to carry you pretty far in divisions imo.

dont buy coins plz. i know it sucks facing some of those top teams with a lower rated team, but beating them makes it fun. invest some time in the game, trade and make some more coins. ive spent some money on fifa points and obviously know i could have bought coins and got a better return in coins. i just hate feeling like im cheating if i did it.

you could easily build a 50k team to beat those high end teams anyways.

Yeah man, also there's fun in trading. In a few weeks I went from -67000 to +130000 coins in transfer profits. My pack luck sucks so I have to rely on buying and selling to get my funds up. It's a game in itself. Heck the phone app itself has takin over my angry birds time.

Yeah don't worry too much when coming across players with a team full of IF and TOTY players, most of them can't actually play lol. They just do long balls or try to run it all the way with Messi or Ronaldo. They get so mad when they lose and blame handicap lol. I'd be more worried about coming across a sliver BPL team..you know they're up to something when they have a team like that.

I have bought coins though..probably about a mill. It's pointless to spend them on packs though(learned that the hard way), you're better off just buying players with them. I regret buying coins though as it burns me out on UT alot qucker. I mean all these guys with high end teams don't have anything to shoot for anymore.

Finally decided to sell Toure. Bought him a couple months back for 294k, his market value right now is almost 500k. Looking to make a really nice La Liga squad centered around Neymar.

Also, just came across this squad today in Division 7...

I won 3-1. What a waste of talent. Just tried throughs to Messi and Ronaldo, and dribbled around with Bale. Varane and Mathieu weren't having any of that lol.

that midfield he has is horrible, no defensive players at all. plus he has ramos and alves on the same side high/med and high/low work rates means he must be exposed on that side defensively. people spend all these coins on toty players and IF's yet dont put any good defensive players on the team.

im glad you beat him though , he probably grabbed mommy's credit card after and bought more coins so he could buy some more offensive players for his team

Yeah don't get me wrong, I'm a decent player, I've beaten a few LaLiga and Bundesliga superstar squads with my bunch of bronze part-timers and yes it's very satisfying indeed.

The problem is I do still get beat more often than not by Sprint-tards who belt into my box from kick-off and score. My players fitness and speed are just no match for an entire campaign of this ****.

My record online is 105-130 . I came within 9 games of closing the gap but I've been off my game recently and had some losing streaks.

Buying into the 70,000 to 80,000 range now. Making a killing today. After a rough week it's turning around nicely.
