I had that happen once last year, someone paid 30,000 for a Bronze I didn't think was worth anything. Makes me wonder if it's someone getting out of the game and gifting their coins anyway. If so, it's a cool gesture.

I think it was a mass bidder. This peticular card only has a few (like 15) on the market and carries a 91 pace stat. And, they all have bins of about 50,000. I noticed this late last night and saw one pop up for 750. (I've been keeping my eye on this one for a few weeks and making decent coin off it but no this big) I put it back up for 33750 in hopes the mass bidder would take it knowing they could still make a profit by putting it back up for 50k, I think that's exactly what they did.

I've packed bronze players that go from anywhere between 2500 all the way up to 50,000. You just have to be sure and check their prices before listing.
Thank you for this. I just spent about 5k on these packs.. made it all back on two players. Now to hopefully get rid of these pathetic 52ovr/55 pace players that there are pages and pages of...

Sold Emmanuel Sarki (60ovr/93pac) for 2k, then Abdullah Al Zori for 3.5k.. checked the other listings for each player and there were others that were going for a bit more, but I figured if I ask for 500 less then mine should sell.. and they did.

I liked and unliked this post so I could like it twice.

I've packed a few silvers in the bronze packs as well that have sold for profit.

The best card I've pulled out of all the packs I opened was in a bronze pack. I pulled a Mathias Bolly that sold for 40 or 50 thousand.

Quickly remembered that I was given a pre-paid VISA for Christmas... just bought $20 worth of points so I could open some gold packs.

On my 7th pack (probably the 10th gold pack I've ever opened, not counting free ones) I pull an IF Kris Commons. Obviously not the best IF I could get, but my excitement level went through the roof.

Hats off to everyone who doesn't buy coins. I feel kinda bad about buying them...pack opening is addicting . Think I'll go legit for FIFA 16 to keep me playing longer and not get burned out on it.

I honestly don't blame people for buying coins. It costs $20 to buy a single 100k pack. $20 gets you 3 million coins if you buy them on PS4.

If you don't have pack luck it is near impossible to get great players. Most people don't want to take the time to trade or play a million games so that's on EA to create more balance with coin earnings.

I just love trading. As my first post dictated this is an addiction. I don't even play the games much anymore!

Almost 2 mil profit, should have it this weekend. But it's taken me a lot of game time.

I just wish the mobile app worked.

Not supposed to talk about buying coins since it is against EA Sports policy.

This isn't meant to come off as snide to you--but this isn't an EA site, and I think we're all aware that it happens.

Just kinda feel like we should be able to discuss it if we want.

Now, if we were discussing something against OS' policy--I can most certainly understand and respect that.

This isn't a huge deal by any means--just sort of feel like it's a bit too much micromanagement.

I imagine it's out of respect for EA and it's Devs.

On an other note. Should hit 1mil coins in the bank today.

Although I find trading fun as well, I trade so I can have enough to buy certain cards and play with them.

Are you just seeing how much FIFA wealth you can accumulate?

Pretty much yes. But my favorite part is opening packs and collecting the cards. So I trade to get the coins to open them.

I was able to earn enough to open most of the 15k packs (I think 14 of the 20) for the chinese new year promo. Right now I'm just stock piling coins till the next 15k packs are put up.
