how long does a career mode last?

If i were to take over Bayern Munich let's say, and sim to as far as I could go, how many years is it? Madden is 30, NCAA was 50, 2K is like 60 or 80, what's fifa?

Fifa is 15 seasons I believe, not sure if they changed that.

Honestly I've never even hit the 15 year mark. I usually get bored way before that and start a new career.

Though I do agree it should be increased nonetheless.

Most people play every game in FIFA, in general people don't sim as much as the other sports games, so you can get through seasons faster in those, the furthest i've gotten was to a 7th season, i was Arsenal for 5 seasons, PSG for 2 and then i got really bored, best thing to do is start with a League 2 team in England, by the time you get them to the Premier League you'll be in at least your 4th season

The only issue I have with the 15 season limit is this,

I would love to create a player and play through a career and near the end of it retire and become a manager. Its hard to do with only 15 years.

However I do agree with what conorjhill said. For whatever reason FIFA is the only game that I play all the games in a season. So 15 years is a ton of time. Just not enough time for both a player and then a manager IMO.
