Re: *The FIFA 15 Manager Mode Thread*

Is it true that the loan trick doesn't work, ever, for Xbox 360 and PS3?

I've tried a million times, not working at all...worked like a dream for me in FIFA 14. I keep trying every now and then just to see if I'll get lucky, just in pure hope, and nothing.

It's a shame it's not in the games for 360 and PS3 if it's true, it was one of the main things I liked about career mode, makes it much more interesting and realistic, instead of having just about all the interesting prospects in football topping out with potentials in the mid 70s...for instance I was planning to use it with Jeff Reine Adelaide who's just had the most impressive debut for Arsenal since Jack Wilshere and looks an absolute class player...and Krystian Bielik too, who's potential is only 77. No dice.

Is there any way around it? I'm in my 2nd season, perhaps it starts to work in later seasons? Any advice would be appreciated!

btw, @OnlyFutbol86 , no, that's actually helpful, thanks for the response. Anyways I realised I was partly bitching for no reason because you can actually create players as young as 14. The problem is every created player you make and insert into the squads to use in your career automatically has 'The Potential to be Special', and well, that's not very realistic and I don't want a team of Messi's...And sadly, I can't use the loan trick to lower their potentials to more realistic levels.

          Olympique Lyon: Episode #2
A near legendary performance by GK Rudy Riou, and a fortuitous goal against the run of play by substitute midfielder Lalaina Nomenjanahary gave newly promoted RC Lens a shock victory over hosts Olympique Lyon here at the Stade de Gerland.

            Olympique Lyon: Episode #3
Despite once again playing well enough to win, OL were once again denied, instead being forced to settle for a 1-1 draw with hosts Toulouse here at Stade Municipal. Wissam Ben Yedder(32') and Alexandre Lacazette(50') were the goal scorers.

Injuries to Clinton N'Jie(4 Weeks, Ankle), and Nabil Fekir(8 Weeks, Shoulder), put a bit of a damper on what was without a doubt OL's best game of the young season, a 3-0 thrashing of new boys FC Metz here at Stade Saint-Symphorien. Goals from N'Jie, Alexandre Lacazette, and Clement Grenier paved the way for Les Gones who, it must be said, were never seriously challenged.

CLASSIC AT WEMBLEY - CAPITAL CUP FINAL:

What a match the Capital Cup Final was at Wembley. The Gunners showing their talent on the pitch and Everton showing they can hold up against the best in BPL. The first half was a barrage of great passing and chances, including a heroic save by Howard early on. The Gunners got a 1st half goal on a corner kick and beautiful header. I stuck the game-plan trying to use my pace on the outside and holding up with Lukaku in the middle. But all chances were stopped by Arsenal defense and goalie. Then on a errant pass by Arsenal mid 2nd half Mirallas cut it off and made a beautiful run into box to get it past keeper and tie it up 1-1. Both sides afterwards had few good chances and regular time ended 1-1. Extra time saw tired legs on both sides with more errant passing and turnovers; but my new acquisition in January transfer window, USA international Zardes, made a beautiful run into box to get tackled from behind and drew penalty. Gave my best rated penalty kicker the shot for penalty, Baines(88 rated penalty), and made a beautiful shot to top right corner only to be saved by keeper, still 1-1. Extra time went on with a few decent chances by both sides only to end 1-1. ugggh, threaded penalty kicks. Went like this:
                            Everton make 1-0
                            Arsenal miss off post 1-0
                            Everton make 2-0
                            Aresenal make 2-1
                            Everton blocked by keeper 2-1
                            Arsenal make 2-2
                            Everton make 3-2
                            Arsenal make 3-3
                            Everton off the post 3-3
                            Arsenal make 3-4

Arsenal win Capital One Cup Final (4-3 on penalty kicks), upsetting and great experience, never felt like cheap cpu win, love these settings by DH.
