Wait so I deleted EVERY roster I had on my profile and relaunched the Application to see if the default roster's would be on there. They were, so that's good so I saved that roster file then I got the updated one and saved it but when I go to load the default one it's not right it's the same as the updated one.

I've heard from friends that this week's roster will reintroduce all of the missing players once again. Hopefully their info is solid.

Hope this is true. I really want to start my CM, and definitely want all the players on the roster possible.

i agree, i was 4 games into my leicester career when i found out just how many players were missing and its wayyy to many for me to not start a new one lol

Try the "Reset Squads" button. I had some weird things happen when I was trying to sort out the roster issue (I needed to delete my roster that contained the now missing players because of the winter gear glitch), but even when it was deleted it kept coming back (perhaps because it was the active roster?).

Bottom line, this couldn't possibly be a worse interface for saving/loading/deleting/updating rosters and the glitches make this even more of a joke.

Where are the options to load, delete, or download rosters LOCATED? These menus get confusing, especially when I'm used to the way Madden is.

You download the latest update in EDIT SQUADS I believe, and the rest is done under PROFILE (both in the Customize tab).

Ok. So does it force you to automatically download and use the latest roster when you do a Play Match? Every time I do this, a pop-up on the screen says "downloading and applying online squads." I wanted to keep the out-of-the box squads, because I've heard about the missing players. I went in and did a search and sure enough, I'm missing those guys, too. I SHOULDN'T be though, right? Totally confused, now. Lol!

On the PLAY NOW match screen there is an option to "use Matchday squads". You need to press Y to disable it. Disabling it causes your saved default roster to be used.

If you disable it then you will never be prompted to download a new squad again, aside from the weekly HIGHLIGHT matches.....at least this is how it worked in FIFA'14. I used a heavily edited squad from January and never downloaded another for 6 months.

If EA could just figure their mess out and get us a fix sometime in the near term future that would be wonderful, but they seem to be struggling with basic functionality. I fear all of their resources are being spent on ironing out the massive amount of FUT server issues instead of fixing core issues such as the terrible squad problem, CM search issue & numerous gameplay issues.

It can't come soon enough, along with a patch for gameplay, CM search issue & the missing Newcastle third kits. Oh and fix the FUT server issues/web app. And also fix the XP/FCC not crediting and fix the weekly Highlight matches being jacked up.
