Career Mode "Perks" Missing?

Anybody else notice the Career Mode perks when you start a new career in FIFA 15?

When I started my career, the game offers me four things, two of which are options: Restart Career Mode Match, Edit Players, 60% bonus funds to start (option), and...damn, can't remember the fourth thing.

Anyway, the Match Restart and Edit Player perks are not available in my career and have to be purchased. I'm assuming this is a bug that will be addressed with a patch? Anybody else have this issue?

I don't think they were available in 14 either. You have to unlock them from the catalog.

If you saw this screen, what would it lead you to believe? That you'd have the Career Match Restart and Edit Player features without buying them again in the catalog, right?

Dumb question, but are you sure you "Clicked to apply"?

Not a dumb question, but yes, I did. The 60% increase and the GTN scout are clickable aka. optional. I clicked them both and found them both in my Career.

The top two, however, are not clickable and would lead me to believe they are "free"; hence, my confusion when neither are applied in-game.

Both Edit Player and Rematch are locked. I'm guessing this is either really poor UX / copywriting, or it's a bug that will need patching.

I was upset I didn't have edit player either. I got excited that I didn't have to level up just to buy the stupid edit player option, but was quickly disappointed..

I'm so sick of having to buy **** for games that should be standard, even if its virtual currency/points.

I hear ya, and as long as it's just a bug that they've yet to address, I'm okay with it. Your point is well made though. You shouldn't have to grind on a silly currency treadmill to "unlock" a basic feature of the game.

It's a slippery slope, FFS. What's next? "Unlock Career Mode Long Distance Shooting"

Are these perks one time use only? I.E if I create a crew mode with Juventus and activate the the budget and global scout. Then create another career, but this time with Liverpool. Will they still be available or was that my only shot?

Weird. It said 30% increase in funds when I started my career mode with West Ham, not 60%.

I believe they are one time bonuses. And if you select the check box on the bottom, you get both that one and the one above it for that career. But I'm not 100% sure on that as I haven't started one yet. I'll do that tonight and let you know. As I don't really care about those bonuses.

Its based off a reward tier from your accomplishments in 14. Mine also said 60% when I first loaded up the game and it shows you what you've earned from past fifa goals.
