Is there any way to turn off manager firing?

I simmed the last 2 months of my season with the NY Red Bulls, I sold a few guys and signed some young talent with good potential. However every time I sim I get my contract terminated. Is there a way to turn this off, I just want to be the red bulls, i dont want to be another team

Nope, not that I see. And there hasn't been for some time. Few years at least anyway.

PC version has career files one can alter, to change board behavior and manager objectives and make it less likely one will get fired.

Nope, but there's a cheat of sorts to avoid being fired. Before you start your cm go and edit your squad and put in all the scrubs then make sure when you start your CM the default rosters are set to "current saved" and your board will give you very easy goals. You can also do this at the end of each season before the goals come in.

I did this with Man U because they wanted me to win the league and the cup and I think that's harsh given the current state of the real squad particularily their back 4. So I edited the team and went back in, now it was qualify for Europe and make the quarters, which I feel is reasonable so I kept it.
