Is it possible to really turn around a franchise to a powerhouse?

I am nothing but enjoying this game. I have a career mode that I moved the NY Redbulls into the championship league in England. halfway through my second year I'm playing every game and I made a lot of transactions. I moved a lot of the older guys and bought young kids. I have 5 people on my roster with potential to be 76-81. Hypothetically all goes well, in 2-3 years im in the premier league with 6-7 75+ over players. But can is it possible to financially turn the redbulls towards the likes of those bigger premier league teams maybe 10 seasons down the road? Like does money disappear or so? I know there is a package to buy like 20 million dollars for your career team which I might do. But say I use 12 out of the 20, does the remaining 8 stay in my bank account or disappears the next year? Also same goes for selling players, I bought Julian Green for 3 million and now I have an asking price of 12, If I sell him, do I keep that money or does the board take it all away the next year and put me back down to like 4 million a year to work with? thanks

You keep the money. At least you have been able to in previous years. Your success in your league and cups will equal a bump or decrease in your budget.

You gradually can see your budget increase, but it takes a long time. I did an MLS career before and turned LA Galaxy into one of the strongest teams in the world with a huge budget, but it took a lot of simulating.

If you play every game (like I do now), it's pretty difficult. You'll want to use up your budget each year most likely because they'll take a decent chunk of it away from my experience. Last year, I won the Premier League with Stoke and had a budget of like $60 million by the end of the year, and they gave me $20 million to start the following season. So use up whatever you have to invest it in players that you can sell later for a profit.
