Parking the bus

I know what this means and I hear everyone refer to it.
How do I do it? When I push the directional pad, parking the bus is not an option....


One other thing, when you start a career with Southampton, the current formation is:
............ST............
LM....................RM
.......CM.....CM.......
...........CDM..........
LB.....................RB
........CB....CB........
I almost always use 4-5-1 with 2 CDMs. But I would like to use this version, also.........,but it's not available to pick from the squad/formation page. Any help would be great! thanks

dpad left until you get to it, it is a mentality setting. all the way left is park the bus, all the way right is all out attack.

Oddly enough, every time I've "parked the bus" I get scored on.


It's useless to me. Maybe it's my team (Nottingham Forrest) but it hasn't worked for me at all.

To really use it effectively, you have to basically concede possession. What I mean is when you stop them, and get a turnover. you will not have any breakout for a counter attack. everyone stays back behind the centerline. So just get enough space, then clear that sum ***** all the way down the field, and make them move the ball through 11 guys again without turning it over to get a chance. If you try to hold on to the ball, you will turn it over in your own half, and a chance will definitely come. You really can't hold on to the ball and milk the clock with park the bus, you likely turn it over and concede a chance.
