5 minutes stoppage time EVERY game??

Is everybody else getting 5 minutes of stoppage time in every single half of every single game?

Not every half of every match, but certainly more often than is realistic.

The stoppage time calculation seems to be meaningless - if there is a calculation at all.

If a there's a substitution the referee should add 30 seconds to the half, but I've had halves where there's been six substitutions (therefore at least 3 minutes of added time) but only 2 minutes of stoppage time.

Likewise I've had halves where there's been no substitutions, minimal stoppages (say only 1 or 2 fouls) and no injuries but 5 minutes have been added.

Watch the clock during bookings or fouls. It doesn't slow down like it does for a ball that went into touch. Obviously a glitch. Maybe EA could get off their a** and fix it with a patch. Really really annoying.

If it doesn't affect FUT and EA's ability to make money off of it, it's not going to get fixed.

For me... it's seriously every half of every single game.

Maybe it's because I've been letting the "cut scenes" play out (because they are awesome) and the clock doesn't stop so I'm getting maximum stoppage time??

I'll have to experiment to see. If this is the case then they need to do what they do with the clock in Madden and pause it during cut scenes.

I played a game using both teams and literally just stood there passing the ball around and not letting the whistle go, still got 5 minutes....

This times a million. I wish people would realize that you've already paid $70 for this game, you shouldn't have to spend more to enjoy it! No offesne to those who do, but it's just plain stupid and gives EA way too much power.

Since FIFA '11 I've remembered that at the end of every half & match, the stoppage time is usually 5 minutes. There's been instances in '14 and this years game, where the stopping time at the half is like 3 or 4 minutes, but that's rare. At the end of every game though, it's ALWAYS "+5". The stoppage time is pretty meaningless in this game anyway. There's been times where the thing has said 5 minutes but it felt like the game ended 3 minutes early. There's also times where it's felt a lot longer than 5 minutes.

Sometimes it's longer if there's stoppages during the 5 minutes I find, but other than that it's the same every damn half.

I've always, literally always played 15 minute halves. But yeah, you're right about game time, I never really thought of that, but I do figure now that the stoppage clock would be on some faster amount of time. Sort of like the advanced clock in Madden. But still, on another hand, it should be consistent, but I've always gotten the five minute visual, yet have had ranging stoppage times during play, even without things like fouls being called. If anything I think it's a visual problem, and there's an issue with differing stoppage times actually being shown.

I just played a game, Match Day Live, 1st half had 3 extra minutes added and the 2nd half had a 2 minute add on, so it might be fixed after the patch. It was only 1 game tho.
