So im winning 1-0 and in injury time the AI, for whatever reason, decides to go to the corner flag and time waste. Either they wanted to lose or have Alzheimers lol. First time i've seen/experienced this, anyone else?

There are other threads about it. Career mode is useless right now. Probably will never get fixed because Ultimate Team rules the day.

This seems to be happening to a lot of people, but for me it's the opposite, the patch actually improved the AI in game mentality changes. Is there a way on PS4 (if that's what you are using) to delete the last patch and reinstall? if not, maybe back up all your saves and delete the game entirely and reinstall? There has to be a reason only certain people experience this glitch.

AI is usually absolutely fine, this was a one off.

This is just my guess but I think the reason only some people are noticing it is because you have to hit certain scorelines against certain teams for it to kick in. For instance, a 1-0 lead against an underdog late seems to make it happen for me and the OP mentioned the same. You could play 20 matches and never see the issue if you didn't get the right circumstances. You could also see it 3 matches in a row if the original scenario comes up. The last few matches I've played have been fine also, but I still think the problem is there post-patch.

For instance, a 1-0 lead against an underdog late seems to make it happen for me and the OP mentioned the same. You could play 20 matches and never see the issue if you didn't get the right circumstances. You could also see it 3 matches in a row if the original scenario comes up. I was up 1-0 on newly promoted Norwich last night in year 2 of my BPL CM with Man United, they didn't park the bus, they tried to equalize. They didn't go all out like a big club would but they brought on a striker and pushed forward. So it must not even be all smaller clubs that do this. I don't get this problem at all.

But you're right if it's not FUT they don't care, once idiots stop spending even more money to play a $60 game then maybe EA will fix problems with the single player modes.

Interesting and good to hear about that Norwich match. I'm still not sure what the AI uses to determine favorite/underdog role. I'll keep trying to notice cpu tendencies later in games.
