Also, Colombia's names are not messed up for me, they give me good South American names..

    Wow.
Columbia is messed up for me. You can get Spanish names but they are doubled. Ex: Jose Escobar Luis Gonzales.

Re: New update: weird names in YA?

I like to have a good mix of "looks" for my youth players so that my team has some character. So I only scout the following areas with my youth scouts:

United States: Gives a good mix of white and black players with many interesting different looks. The names are normal and have a great variety.

Italy: Has a high percentage of players with great hair...long hair, pony tails, etc. Names are normal and have a high variety. On my current career I have a 6'3" AMF (playing at Striker) named Armando Cintro (great name) with a pony tail. He is one of my favorite players.

Saudi Arabia: Good mix of middle eastern and black players. Can get some cool looking players. Even got a black guy with dreadlocks. About half of the last names start with "Al" but that's okay. On my current career my goal keeper is a 6'5" black guy with a shaved head and beard named Abdullah Al Amad. Another of my favorite players.

North Korea: Names are normal Asian names with a good variety, and there is a good variety of different looking Asian looks. On my current career my left midfielder is a 6'1" LW named Sun Yuan Kim.

Sweden: Names are normal and about half the players have flowing blonde locks. In my current career I have a 5'8" speedy CM with long blonde hair and a headband. His name is escaping me at the moment but it is a normal Swedish name.

*** Now I would LOVE to find a Spanish country that has normal names, as you can get dudes from those countries with great hair and interesting facial features. On occasion I will do a scout in a Spanish country (Spain, Mexico, or South America) and take one of the players with the four names...) I REALLY WISH THEY WOULD PATCH THIS!!!!

PS: Note for EA for FIFA 16. When you give me the initial scouting report for a youth player, can I get a pic of what they look like on that report? As it stands, I have to save the game, sign them, and then sim forward to see what they look like, and then go back to my original save. I realize not everybody cares as much as me about what a player looks like, but I'm sure many of us do.

Any word if there will be a fix for this through a patch, or will a roster update resolve this issue?

I have a kid in my acadamy from Bolivia named Ju Tae Ruyssen. Kinda like the name. He's going to be a good winger.

These names are pretty weird. I got this awesome RM from Egypt who potential is 88-94 and his name is Dos S Durval da S. Al Nubi.

I can live with the weird names, they need to fix the issue where you tried to access your Youth Academy and the game crashes.

Well, that's officially one of the worst ones yet.
