Re: Short list question?
What is happening is that I fully scout the player and see his overall. I then put him on my shortlist but sometimes, a few months later, his overall goes back to a question mark. I'm wondering if this is due to me relocating the scout that originally scouted him.Comment

Re: Short list question?
Yes, SOFIFA is the way to go early in your career mode. I'm now 5 - 6 years in and it becomes pretty useless. Then, you have to use your scouts and youth academy to find good, young, affordable talent. Most of the players I pick up now are generated.Comment

Re: Short list question?
What sucks about not being able to use SOFIFA is not being able to see players' work rates. I find these to be highly valuable to know...

Re: Short list question?
It is pretty annoying that it goes away (also ... the wage / value are things that are important to me for planning my transfers). If you think about it, in "real life" you would just put the *actual* file in a file drawer ... and you could go look at it whenever you wanted. It is not like your scout has only a finite amount of things he can know ...
I sometimes keep a detailed Excel spreadsheet (nerd ... I know) with my transfer interests ... and this can combine information that I get from my scouts (initially) and some fill-in-the-blanks from SoFIFA (eventually).New to FIFA23 ... did not care for FIFA22 ... after having played FIFA19 for the previous three years!
