    Arsenal Formations

    Need a couple tips.

Playing with Arsenal I want to have a few formations to use and I'm kind of a novice at setting them up.

Against the big clubs I was thinking a 4-1-4-1 with a counter attack? Would this be to way to go about it? I figure this is a conservative formation with Coquelin staying back in front of the back 4.

Now against everyone else what I should run?

Also is there other formations I should try for other situations?

    Any tips appreciated.

4-5-1 with two DMFs is always a good one against the bigger teams. Use defensive mentality to stop the defensive midfielders going walkabout too far up the pitch.

      I usually run a 4-5-1 too.

I actually enjoy using Walcott as the ST on occasion, as he is so exceptionally fast (and has a H/L workrate--which is fantastic for the 4-5-1).

Sanchez can play all over the map too (RM, LM, CAM, ST). He is too much fun to play with!
