Would EA really tailor to FUT players again this year?

After reading through the new features on EA's FIFA 16 website you would think they wouldn't completely change the full retail game being that most of their key new features is about control the midfield play, confidence in defending, defensive agility, defend as a unit and play beautifully. Heck there's even a banner during the game that says play beautifully. That would mean EA would go against the majority of their new features if they do.

According to EA they are not going to arcade patch it... Check their twitter and call IT they both claim the game will be like the demo with just a few graphics polishes.

What they do, I can not say but it does not seem like thay are changing things just because some FUT folks think player movement is too heavy (not arcade enough).

Some of the biggest complaints during the beta was that players were to slow and stamina was to low, because MUT/Club players wanted to hold turbo for the whole 90 mins and they couldn't in the beta.
They already increase the pace, I just hope they don't push it back to 15.

They should just leave the offline game as in the demo, a s boost fut. That way everyone would be happy.

My source was a phone call and online chat and a tweet. I guess I could share the tweet but will have to screen shot it and take my twitter name off it as I do not want to publically post my Twitter on here.m

Call IT or chat online with them. The reps will tell you. That is what I did. I heard the rumor it was changing and was bummed so called to see and while on hold online chatted EA and got the same answer. The all said it was not going to be sped up and made more like 15. That the general impression was the gameplay was improved and they were going with what they had done.

Where is the source that they are changing it? No one associated with EA Sports has even suggested the actual game will play different than the demo. Obviously there will be some patches at some point. But nowhere is there currently a suggestion it is going to be arcaded. The general reviews of the demo are all positive. And more authentic gameplay is being praised. From a marketing point it might be dumb to change what people are liking. Even the majority of FUT only players are speaking of improvements.

Quite honestly this whole thing is just sensationalized off one vid of some guys playing online and playing a poor tactic. IDK my opnion is if you want to know ask the source. EA has easy access by phone, chat, text and twitter. If worried they are realeasing a game different than the demo ask them... I got the same answer from three sources. Kinda explained differently but the same answer.

In the end though we will all have to wait and see as whatever they do they do. Heck they may patch it and slow it down and make it even more sim. We should start that rumour and really upset anyone who wants it to be more arcade like.

Doubt the game speed changes because the demo drops two weeks before release and shipments begin a week before, so there isn't enough time to make big changes.

But I wouldn't take the words of online EA representatives or phone representatives as gospel, either.

I've spoken to someone who's played the retail version of the game, spoken to him. And there was absolutely nothing done to the game to cater to the FUT crowd, period. This same paranoia was prevalent during the FIFA 14 demo period, all for naught as even today FIFA 14 plays a solid game of football.

So glad to hear that. If you're able to get in contact with him again, could you please ask if the winter gear bug has finally been fixed? I think there are quite a few of us that would like to know the answer to that, as well.
