The highest I've gotten to is Division 4. I'm just getting to the point of understanding how the game moves. I don't like it, but I've adjusted.

I chalk it up to the skill games. Particularly the dribbling/advanced dribbling. They've helped immensely.

I have about 60k due to winning titles, games, and selling a chem card here and there. Still trying to find a solid strategy in finding a player to buy/sell for mass bidding.

I alternate between these two squads:

1) Bundesliga

I really enjoy the Serie A team. I think it's the best out of these two. I don't get the breakaways I'm used to having as I would usually have a fast striker in the previous FIFA's, but since pace doesn't mean everything this year (which I'm COMPLETELY okay with. I was tired of people holding down RT/R2 and running past my CDMs and CBs who took terrible angles attempting to stop the ball last year), I'm enjoying Mandzukic's physicality and his outright "step-childin'" defenders due to his PHY rating.

I know I'm just a "rookie" according to OS, but I'll take any suggestions or tips

Mine come on Sundays around 7pm Central. Did you input the code that came with your game?

Yes I did input the code. I got them for several weeks but have not gotten the promo packs the last couple of weeks.

So what is the deal with draft tokens, is there a way to earn them? Or are they randomly given or what is the deal with them? I like the draft mode, but I'm not the type of player that is going to grind out in regular FUT to earn 15k coins to do one.

That's depressing. I spent 250K coins on packs last night and the best player I got was worth 14K on the market. I couldn't believe I didn't get anything better than that. Bad luck I guess.

Yeah I only spent 30K on packs and I didn't really get anything worth noting. Can't imagine how you feel.

I know full good and well that opening packs isn't 'worth it' from an investment standpoint. However, I often just can't help myself trying for those elusive purple cards.

As an Arsenal fan, I want that Ozil IF so badly!

The packs seem to have killed the market too.

Everyone spent all their coins on the packs so nobody is spending any coins on cards right now because they don't have any!

It will come back eventually.

Plus the whole mode is goofy now with just 4 tourneys.

There really isn't any reason to own a bronze or silver squad once you clear those tourneys.

It's really tough to understand what EA is thinking. In so many ways this game feels unfinished.

Literally an hour before they released hero Ibra, I bought my bundesliga squad. Bought Reus for 240k.

Now he's going for 208k and all my other players have basically gone down by 40%. Luckily I didn't invest in one player. As I am still enjoying my team. Just sucks to think how much money I lost

Curious how you guys handle the stuff you 'don't want'.

All the consumable stuff you don't need/want and the lower rated players, do you guys just list that stuff for the minimum or do you go ahead and quick sell for coins or what?

Just curious as I often list stuff over and over just to make maybe 50-100 coins over the lowest BIN price.

I quick sell everything that sells for near the discard value if I put it on the market. I'd rather get rid of it than try over and over to sell it to get 20 extra coins.

As for consumables I keep all contracts, healing, fitness, position changes, and chem styles. Everything else is quick sold.

Im getting very annoyed with what EA is doing with Fifa 16. The tournaments need to start, they should have started as soon as the game was released. thats how you win coins, not the lousy amount you win per game. Getting the 5-10K for winning tournaments would be huge right now, considering it seems the only reason to play FUT right now is so you can do the draft. You get nothing for winning seasons, about 5K, but 8-10 games to make that. ****, are they even going to do tournaments? if not there is no point to having any more than 18 player cards

I have 9 squads built, 3 bronze, 2 silver and 4 gold.

I cleared the 4 tourneys day 1.

Now I just rotate squads to keep it interesting but honestly after clearing the tourneys there is ZERO reason to have any squad other than your best gold squad. I don't even know why I have the other squads still.

Last night I was like hmmm I might try buying a bronze bundesliga 2 squad. After I bought 3 players I thought why the hell am I doing this? It serves no purpose.

This isn't at all how FUT is supposed to work.

When you get right down to it, FIFA is crazy bare bones.

We have CM, Kickoff and FUT. Many people don't play CM and FUT both, choosing one or the other.

So if you play only 1 mode all you have is Kickoff and online nonsense.

It's shocking to me that NHL which was so bare bones last year, now trumps FIFA in ways to play.
