This is the first time I've gotten a Deluxe Edition, is this the one that gives me 2 packs per week? It says something about $50 worth of content on the box...

What day of the week do we get them?

You get them the day you installed FIFA. So if you got your first pack on a Tuesday, then the rest should come on Tuesdays.

I spent some money last year too. Not $250, lol--but I spent. I hate that I did.

Man if you could just land 1 Messi, Ronaldo, etc. you'd be set for the year off of that 1 card profit.

I actually packed 2 Aguero's last year--so was able to sell the 2nd one for something like 350K.

Yep. Unfortunately my pack luck isn't too good..my best pulls last year the whole year were Neymar, TOTS de gea and IF Walcott

I'd suggest getting into trading. It's really fun when you get the hang of it. Having the web app really helps too.

Sometimes I just get lucky. Yesterday I was searching for Veratti's lowest buy now and it was about 13k. I changed the price, searched again bam, he had just been listed for 3k by some poor soul. Quickly made 10k like that. There are lots of deals out there if you know where to look.

That's one problem I'm coming across. I'm not really sure about what deals are good and what cards i should get for buy/sell.

I've only got a "Band-Aid" Serie A team with Gervinho being the best player on it, and a Bundeslinga team with no one on that team either.

The rest are few from BPL (no good players) and Liga BBVA (also no good players).

The new capping prices EA put together doesn't help either.

This happened to me and the only way I got around it was by using the web app.

Yup, had the same problem, had to go to the web app.

I've played 6 games against the CPU and 5 of 6 have ended with server issues. No coins and I'm losing contracts. Getting very annoyed. I never had this issue last year

That sucks. I've heard that there have been several disconnection problems so far in FUT. Ridiculous and inexcusable by EA.

I can see why people would want to stay away from fut..it really seems like a pay to play deal..unless you're really good at trading. I spent around $250 last year on coins and points and I regret it. This time I'm going the whole year without spending any money on points/coins and i can tell it's gonna be a struggle. Probably won't have a team as good as i had last year..

Yeah... I spent 40 dollars on Fifa points. I'm only 20 dollars through it and Im thinking... I'm such an idiot. Lol...

EA will continue to get big bucks off of people who make impulsive and thoughtless purchases like I did.

Just ran through a draft with a front 3 of Ronaldo, Ibra and Messi. Won by a total of 12-1 in 4 games and got a regular gold pack and a rare players pack. Obviously the gold pack was garbage but the player pack had ~100k worth of players. Pulled Sturridge, Nasri, Ross Barkley and a handful of guys worth 3-5k.

Here are my two cheap teams that I rotate for fitness:

-This entire team plays well except for Januzai. His shooting lets me down a lot. I will most likely be upgrading the left side with Draxler and Aogo (LB).
-Bas Dost is a beast. Love using him.
-Boussoufa is a cheap dominant player.
-Garcia bombs forward a lot, so I will be looking to put Witsel in that position to take advantage of his shooting without giving up much on defense.
-Lopes has been really good and doesn't let many weak goals in. He plays way above his stats a lot of the time.

-Pelle is the best striker in the game IMO. in 6 games with this team, he has 15 goals.
-The rest of the team I threw together based on my free packs since I only had about 3K to spend.
-Lallana is underwhelming. Easily outplayed by Diamanti and McCarthy.
-Tadic is solid along with Pepe.
-Defense has been surprisingly good for how low rated they are.

Hey guys, does anyone know of a really good guide to help a FUT first-timer? I really want to get into this mode, because it looks awesome, but I have no clue what I am doing. I have been playing single player modes and building up coins, but I'm really not sure how I should spend my coins. Should I be buying packs, saving, or buying and selling on the market?

Any help at all is appreciated. Thanks.
