Depay, Damian, William Silva de Carvalho, Quaresma, Rivero, Watson...

Depay is the biggest omission. Mainly because he was a big time transfer this summer to a big time club in the EPL. Also, hes been a budding star for a couple years, and there are plenty of players with faces that aren't as talented or popular as he.

Wouldn't be surprised if Depay's face is patched in like they did with the promoted EPL teams last year.

I really dont get why EA scans the big teams every year and misses out on players like Depay, Firmino for a couple of years.

Especially in career mode a lot of players build their teams around upcoming stars and it's so frustrating if these players look worse than star players from FIFA 08/09....

Really hope they do a complete scan of Bundesliga, La Liga and Serie A this year instead of scanning Real, City, Barca, Chelsea for the tenth time...

Really dislike EA's generic faces and they always look so lazily done and you can almost always look like a duplicate of another generic player's face.

Konami does a much better job at faces...it's not even close IMO. Not trying to start a game vs game debate, but it's true.

Yes they are better, but they also have the problem that they only do some faces.
IMO star player faces have already been awesome both in FIFA and PES in 2010/2011. The bigger problem is the huge difference between star players and generic faces. They can try to make Ronaldo, Messi etc. perfect but it will still look weird if the player next to him looks like a Crashtest Dummy.

It'd be a huge step forward if they had all the players of the top 4-5 leagues scanned in. It's a lot of work and it's probably unrealistic to scan them all every year, but if you build up a database of those faces it might come true in a few years.
A 2-3 year old scanned face will still look better than a generic one even if players change their hairstyle or get a tattoo or sth. like that.

I agree but the majority of time playing the game I do not see faces and what I do see FIFA does better. Like you I do not want a game v game war. But fact is in the playable cameras to me FIFA is mire visually apealing.

Not saying PES looks bad. Both games look good.

I do agree that FIFA could be better if they kept some old scans and instead of rescanning a team just added another. But they still have way more scans than PES.

In the end I can not complain about either games graphics.
