Why would they do a silly thing like that? Not like they have to write new code, just leave it in place. But yet, they have Women's soccer. Oh EA, the perpetual giveth and taketh away.

Odd that they have a space for it to add teams yet no functional CC. Might sound silly to some but I'm not buying this year, or likely again, until they either specifically declare it will never come back, or they do add it back in. Hopefully next year but I won't hold my breath.
