They claimed they fixed that this year, but I don't know if anyone has tested yet to see. I've been wondering about this myself.

Not sure but when I won the EPL title with Chelsea in a sim my payout was ~18.5 million SBP. About ~6 mil less than what they recv'd last year.

That is disappointing. since they said they corrected financial stuff this year.

I used them last year and got them promoted, did a few seasons in the EPL and my highest finish was 14th place I think. I had fun but they were frustrating to build up and were a team with no pace when I initially started using them.

I live in the US but a distant relative of mine played for Leeds which is the only reason I use them. His name is Lorimer.

Other than that I know little about them. They do have a pretty good keeper.

Yeah Silvestri is really good but he eventually got too good and kept asking for increased wages then eventually i had to sell him to for about 15 million I believe.

I pick a huge club and buy up all of Leeds' older players or players that I have no desire working with for huge sums of money or I trade them great players for bums. playing 15 it took me 3 and a half seasons with Barca to get Leeds to top tier only shipping them players and money with the cpu doing everything else. once they made it I stopped helping till they offered me the job, then I made a side save and tested out how long I could stall them while I shipped my faves from the Barca squad to Leeds then I accepted to job.


I know its a lot of trouble and you have to wait seasons to get to Leeds but its pretty fun once you make it to Leeds with all of your favorite players and the funds to build.

It should be pretty easy to change the backend algorithm that determines payout.

They also need to take a page out of Konami ' s book and incorporate Sponsorship $. The TV money separates the EPL from other leagues but the Sponsorships separate the likes of Man United, Chelsea, Citeh, Pool, and Arsenal from the bottom table sides.

As you finish higher up the Sponsorship money increases.

Barca is about to break the bank next year.

I'm not completely familiar with soccer contracts. If a player leaves after his contract expires does the team receive compensation?

No you won't get anything, it is best to decide if you want to sell or renew before approach the last year of their contract. I think the most annoying thing was players constantly asking for increased wages in the begining of their contract if they started playing really well. I am not sure that is still an issue in FIFA 16.

If you try to renew but they don't accept you offer they can just walk at the end of the contract and you get nothing?

Yeah that can happen as well and basically the player is leaving for free.
