Check this out--give it a go.

    8 mins legendary

    Speed 48-48
    Acceleration 50-49

    Pass error 45-65
    First touch error 50-65

    global cpu and human:
    line height 48
    line length 52
    line width 48
    fullback positioning 60

I was nervous to try this, as WC was too difficult for me. But I played some games last night with these settings and it was amazing. It was hard, but not cheap (in the CPU favor). I played 10 min halves--not 8 FYI.

The sliders I use can be very different than the next guy's or whatever is on this forum or other forums. That being said, I'm still loving boosted Pro.
      Couldn't agree more.

IMO what's really needed, if someone out there really wanted to provide a service to the FIFA community, is rather than publish slider sets, teach people how to make their own. Teach what slider affects what, what to do to fix certain problems, etc.

I tested so many variables until now that I could easily do that. It´s not a simple science, because each slider affects the result on other sliders too, but I can give some insight and from there, each one could find your own way. Truth be told, I´m never happy with all the slider sets here too, always have to tweak something here and there to my taste.

This is right on... No sliders are going to be perfect for everyone. The key is knowing what tweaking is needed and what it will affect. For example I lowered CPU Acceleration by accident and they kinda did not mark well. It was weird, without changing marking they seemed give me more space. IDK maybe it was just they arrived late. Either way, great point that sliders affect each other.

Oddly, Legendary (with these sliders) is way less frustrating than World Class. It seems play great. Thanks for this! It is difficult but does not feel like the CPU has an edge or scripted. I never would have guessed I could play on Legendary. What it did for me was reward my good play and the CPU took advantage of my mistakes. But never did I feel that no matter what I did they would take theball from me. Which was one of my World Class issues.

Thanks again, this for me is the best settings I have played the game on.

That´s because Acc also affects players agility. They are slower to react, but it´s a good value to deccrease in Legendary for instance, because on default, CPU does have an advantage on reaction time.

Exactly. There's quite a number of us with several years of this under our belts that could create some sort of guide. The problem is most people are too lazy, like myself, or more interested in creating a slider set and "fixing" the game rather than actually take the time to teach people how to make their own adjustments to suit there specific preferences, abilities, etc.

I haven't done that yet but I might mess around with CPU acceleration. I think it was in FIFA 13 that knocking one point off the CPU accel slider did a world of good for making Legendary fair.

I've found a really nice balance right now on professional. I'm tempted to consider world class, but, I'm getting such good results right now I don't want to tinker.

                        Re: World Class/Professional

I must say I understand people complaining about how difficult it's to score more goals on WC difficulty. I was having the same experience at first. But the more I play the more I understand the game. Right now my team has the best scoring record in league 1. However we do concedes more goals as well. So far am topping the league (10-4-0). I was leading in all the games I drew (sometimes with a 2 goal difference) but the AI always equalise few minutes before the end. So this keep me on my toes till the final whistle.

So I'll suggest 2 things to must people.
1).forget your playing style from fifa 15 and take the time to learn how to play 16. It's plays differently.
                        2) be patient and build up play you'll surely get an opening. This game is fun.

**The only slider I changed were the ones that have to do with speed.

Is there anything more annoying than "learn to play" posts? Take the time to learn how to play 16? lol. Obnoxious doesn't begin to describe this type of post.

That's myopic really. Why do you think my post was just about learn to play. If you take your precious time to understand what I was trying to pass across you'll understand all I meant was that the game plays different from 15 so most of the habits we were used to is of no use in 16. But if you find it obnoxious then just ignore it no big deal. It's not like am forcing anything down your throat or are others not allowed to have an opinion?
I don't know why people take pleasure in attacking others for no just cause.

I can't play on pro because I don't think the CPU is much of a threat to score. If you drop the CPU acceleration to 48 and put shot error at 55 I think it plays pretty fair on all manuel WC
