I've started a career and downloaded updated squads beforehand, I notice a lot of the teams I play are pretty weak in the league. Chelsea without Costa for example. Man City with no Ageuro up front.If I download this roster update will it update to teams latest formations / lineup?

The roster line up depends on the team's latest game, so if Diego was out due to red card or injury or whatever, he will be placed on the bench!

Figured as much. Will the roster update fix that in my Career, or would I need to restart my Career? I can't see the AI making the changes themselves tbh unless I manually update the squads again and start a new career.

I'm guessing sofifa updates shortly after. Although sometimes I've noticed the update comes out and it takes a few hours for sofifa to reflect that. Usually by 1/2 pst it's out.

You're exactly right, you need to restart your career if you want the updated rosters. Additionally, the game has always had a bug (although better this year), that a team would play the players with higher Stamina ratings, and not higher OVR.

Thanks for the reply. Kinda sucks but I'm only one game into my career so not that huge of a loss. Anyone know what time roughly it updates GMT? Thanks

Actually been waiting on it today but nothing yet and it's 7:30 pm est guess since there's a PC patch out today might delay rosters. Not big deal as can't get far in CM if u do update every week. Only time worth restarting is if favorite player added . You might wanna also save every couple weeks rosters as over time there will be rating changes, potentional up/down, and most important players added but also deleted so it's good have backup keep 1 roster a month. Don't wanna have fav player drop 10 potentional or be deleted altogether and you can't select past rosters to download only current one.

Anyone having trouble reading sofifa on mobile like I am you can try ultrafifa as it works better til sofifa adds mobile version only difference is hardly any comments or discussions on ultrafifa..

Well it's out now for PS4 just got Oct 2 roster. Also saw ultrafifa site has Oct 2 update as well. Have fun !!!

Ha yeah that would be insane, kid is good but not better than Iniesta good right now ha. Halilovic has been a monster with Sporting thus far.

Thanks, I'll try to make this one last. Bad thing about starting one up with a really good team is they get boring quickly, unless I start losing everything in year 1 and what not.
