Why are all GKs playing like Buffon???

I haven't been using strong teams much, maybe less than 5 times since I got the game which I think scoring with headers off the crossing from the wingers is harder than last year but not to the point where I cannot score at all, however, ever since I started my PORTSMOUTH FC career, it is so hard to score because all the GKs play like Buffon, the GKs will hit the ball away or catch it with both hands almost every time, I think I got lucky scoring once only, I saw the patch details where they included some changes on the GKs of the COM, but it seems too hard...HOWEVER, I AM JUST SHARING FEELINGS, NOT ASKING FOR A PATCH PLEASE, I RATHER TO CONTINUE FINDING WAYS TO SCORE THAN HAVING A PATCH F'UP THE ENTIRE GAME!!!!

also any cross that comes from either me, or the CPU always gravitates towards the goalkeeper

I realize if you use early cross, L1 plus Square, it will be better, the ball won't be catched or hit away as easy by COM GK...

The GK AI is always a work in progress. With that said, I'd rather have stronger goalies like we have this year compared to the garbage we had in 15, 14, 13...you get what I'm saying.

As for crosses, you just have to learn to curve the ball better. GKs in FIFA are notorious for having problems with curved balls in the box (especially on corners). Keep working at it and you'll get the hang of it.

If you play Career Mode try adjusting sliders for GKs down to 21/21 they play much more realistic and can't catch every hard shot as on default. But they still come out of the small box and all the great stuff.

I've also noticed some funny back passes that the keepers picked up with the hands. This is sometime annoying especially when you are losing and pressuring the opponent.

Also sometimes my goalie just rush out to balls that my defenders are closing in on and just shoot it away. These are the 2 things that bug me about the keepers.

surprised noone else mentioned this, but this is by far the most annoying thing when it comes to goalies. If the ball is slowly rolling towards the goal, but is going to go wide, instead of picking up the ball (common sense) they let the ball go out for a corner. That pisses me off to no end
