Handballs: On or Off?

I noticed that a lot of people here turn handballs on. I know its more "sim" but I'm afraid that they'll happen way too often. So I ask you.

Handballs: Do they make CM better?

I play with them on but I may have to turn it off. 7 times out of 10 the game doesn't catch the CPU handballs but ALWAYS get me for them and it's pretty frustrating after a while. I use on except penalties

I'm one of those crazy bastards that uses on with penalties. I haven't seen too many pens from handballs. Maybe a handful.

But I agree with the above poster, it gets called on me way more than the cpu.

Lol i'm right there with you. Leads to an increase in penalties for sure, but nothing so terrible that it ruins the experience. Sometimes it's fun watching the weird ways they manage to get their arms into the mix.

I too have them on with penalties.

Gave up my first tonight in the opening game of my Champions League campaign. Turned out to be the game winner. Dang.

On with penalties is masochistic.

I go on with no pk's. 100% because with full on the cpu seems to blatantly handball more in the box with NO calls being made, and of course if it brushes my players shoulder it's a cpu pk.

At least with no pk's it seems to tone down the idiotic cpu handball defending tactic.

Yet another change EA needs to make is to quit having players jump at the ball with their arms up. Arms are always down pushing the other player, preventing them from leaping. Foul? Yes, but nobody is jumping together with arms raised like they do constantly in this game.
