Do you need to start a new career mode in order to see the new real faces?

I am on ps4 and I am not 100% sure but I think when people say you need to restart career mode to see the new faces added from patch 3, is wrong as the players' faces look quite real and they are tbe same face when I go to edit mode in editing roster of general menu and the menu inside career mode...

Can someone tell me if the attached photos of the players are updated already or not? I am on ps4 and please let me know if you are seeing the same faces for these players...so confusing man

The update is not working …to see the new faces , reset to default then view the faces ….For some reason it doesn't work . Im on ps4 by the way..Total frustration

If I have to lose my HEAVILY EDITED roster just to get facial scans for 3 teams that will most likely get relegated in the first season of my Career Mode, then there's no way I'm doing it. I'll just have to wait on the first roster update after the real life January transfer period.

I just said that so you can view them …EA sports screwed this one up …The roster update on friday will have it but you will probably have to start a new career mode unfortunately ...

Ya and then after you download the newest faces they r gone again, I actually wonder if they will actually appear aftee the friday roster, who can guarantee???

Eh I only ever notice the faces when in menus and looking at bios/stats never got that closeup in game as be too small see field ...

The hairstyle really plays into the effect of realism of the gameplay tho

Yeah the replays and some intros I forgot about are pretty sweet and close up so if guy looking crazy could be a turn off. Have you noticed if the faces are updated during the games?

Apparently, there is a new roster update, I want to know if the new scanned face appear NORMALLY with this one, or do I still need to reset to see the updates and then they will be gone after the update of the roster??!??!?!?!
