Anyone Do a True Manager Mode?

Has anyone done a real career/manager mode that would be like real life story?
Here's what I mean by sort of realistic cm:

1-Start out as player do career then retire and starts as manager or go directly into manager mode but start at a non top League with a 1 star club.

2-Actually move your way up leagues only by the offers you get in game?

3- Work your way up to a top club

4- No sim games to by pass lower leagues, actually have to put in time and work playing the games as sim seems to easy..

5- No use of Financial Takeover or Scout a Prospect etc boosts that would kinda take away from realism trying to get . So no catalog boosts even training ones ..

Most managers don't just start at Real Madrid, Barca, Man Utd etc plus they work their way up through multiple clubs and different leagues/countries..
I forget if an older version of Fifa had an option where u could only start at a low league with low club but I have some memory of it.

So I would like to know if anyone is playing a realistic career as I think it's rare and would be interesting follow ... So anyone tried this or know of someone doing one now to follow??? Thx in advance

Re: Anyone Do a True Manager Mode?

I usually do this (not starting as a player though, I do like the sound of that however and might try that now). I think a lot of people actually do this. They just aren't the ones who post all the updates on a regular basis for their CM.

However I do have house rules that cause me to sim some games. For example if I win 5 games in a row I have to sim the next game. Also if I go 10 games without losing, wins or draws including the sim'd game, I have to sim two in a row. With the exception of cup games. And I don't think I have ever used a financial take over. But I have used the scout before. But only with bigger teams.

This year I started out as Union Berlin, a one and half star team in Bundesliga 2. Got promoted and then after two seasons in first division got offered a job by West Brom. Was there for three years. Then got tired of playing in the BPL and got myself fired and took a job in League 1 with Crawley Town. Was just promoted to League 2. I'm currently in the 2022-2023 season.

When I finish my career with Everton, I am going to do exactly this. I will probably do it in Liga.
