Easy does it. That's just one post so far that is stating there are gameplay changes. From who I've talked to, they said there is no change.

I'm not going to update it until there is more of an overall consensus. My reason for not updating is because I am on the PC and an update like this may alter the modded database, or corrupt my cherished CM files.

Based on previous post on this thread there is: - 2 persons that say no change - 1 that say dramatic change. So it is a rather small sample size and it is reason why I asked. So far I didn't dowloaded the patch myself because I don't want to ruin a gameplay I am very happy with (No more rabbit hole before next edition). But if others were more courageous than me I would be greatful if they could share their experience with us.

I have only noticed one change but that night be because I'm playing tournament and not a career anymore.

The change is in on screen stats. It will say pass accuracy is 67% and then 5 minutes later it will say 100%.

But in terms of actual on the field play, I have not noticed anything.

Perhaps it's the fact that I've never even seen what the online options are much less played them, but I don't have a single problem with FIFA. I play the PC Version, tournament and career which I modify with tools so there are no injuries or transactions. I've never had a problem. I am slightly afraid of this last update though which people say has harmed the gameplay so I'm just not upgrading which doesn't bug me cause I don't go online in video games anyway.

Well, been playing this extensively since patch was released, offline, online, FUT and I can definitely say, gameplay DID change. It's better than ever.

It reminds me of what EA did with FIFA 15 at the end of that game cycle, releasing gameplay patch underneath last patch, but not mentioning it. It's like preparing ground for next FIFA and testing stuff.

If this is how FIFA 17 will feel, I am definitely going to buy it. Hopefully they add similar to MyGM mode like they are willing to do with NHL to FIFA. That would be complete revamp of Career Mode.

I am very happy (and didn't have other choice as PS4 updates games on its own lol). Definitely had to re-learn how to play it.

Och and one more thing, it's definitely not placebo effect as my mate on PC and at least 4 or 5 people from PS4 I know can also confirm there is definitely a change. Crazy I know.

These are very vague descriptions. Can you elaborate more, please? I know you record and commentate, maybe something like that?

What do you want to know?

AI seems to be attacking way more than before, there is more space and time on the ball, they are not pressure whoring you all the time. The defense is solid, but you can split it now with through ball (was quite a task before). I play on World Class and I can definitely see improvement.

I also saw few new animations I have never seen before, more yellow/red cards following reckless challenges. Once I start playing it I cannot put it down for good few hours. It's that good now. Whereas before I got frustrated and quit after 1 game lol.

Doesn't matter now since FIFA 17 announcement snippet trailer came out. FIFA 17 will be using Frostbite instead of Ignite for the first time. Excited as never before!

So it sounds like most people are avoiding this patch, a couple say no noticeable change and there is one clear fan.

Can anybody say that this patch has caused them a negative experience?

Yes it has changed a bunch doesn't even feel like the same game...is there any way I can play without the new patch?...it's gotten to Arcady for my taste.

Nice patch. Gameplay is very, very slow( playing on normal speed). I don't understand, why everybody complains here. Now this game is way better, then original version.Plus I saw some new moves from players.

I have to eat my words as well, I think the patch did change some things. Whether it is for the better, or not, still needs more time.

Keep in mind my thoughts are based on using the OS Sliders:

The first thing that really stood was the amount of drilled passes by the CPU are not as hard. The ball rolls longer on the ground, versus bumps across it.

The CPU is much more aggressive, saw 5 fouls in 1 half before I had to turn it off for the night. Noticed there was a smoothness in shots and saves as well.

Defensively players will bunch up around the ball carrier if he tries to go at them, doesn't happen all the time, but it's nice to see this all out defending in threatening positions.

That's it so far. I have been reluctant to try the patch, but was forced to install it since my Origin needed to repair my FIFA that had broken due to user error in deleting some critical files :/ .

I honestly wasn't aware people were so deliberately avoiding this patch.

I downloaded it as soon as my console told me one was available (so what, a month ago?) and I've been enjoying it ever since.

Agreed about drilled passes not being such a thing any more - I suddenly didn't feel at a disadvantage having my Pass Speed slider set the same as the CPU. Likewise for First Touch Control Error.

Personally I'd advise all of those that haven't touched it yet to reconsider...
