Started playing on World Class. WTH happened to AI?

So as Professional got a bit too easy for me, winning league title every single time, despite of how bad of a team I chose on manager mode I chose to start a new season on World Class.

What I like about World Class is that I won't win every game and that winning the title is not something I expect. This time, upgrading players and the team overall is a real task and really important.

    But!

Why is it that the only difficulty seems to come from BAD AI. Most of the time my passes are interrupted simply because my players decide to run behind the defenders just when I pass to them. WHY?

Also it seems that AI gets away with a lot of dirty play, especially in crucial moments for me.

    Did you try sliders?

    I recommend:

    For WC/Legendary http://www.operationsports.com/forum...y-sliders.html

    For Professional http://www.operationsports.com/forum...6-sliders.html

    Cheers!

I have not tried sliders yet. I'd like to prefer the real difficulties, but one question:

Is there any way to adjust the referee decisions?

I'm constantly being tackled, pushed and my shirt is basically being ripped off when I'm in the box about to score and they never give me a penalty. FFS

If the "real difficulties" don't suit your ability you should try sliders. It will not hurt you. You can't say you don't like what you do not know.
There's only one "real difficulty". The real life one. All others are artificial.

There's no way to change referees behavior.

        Cheers!

Something about the bump up to WC/Legendary triggers a gap in intelligence between user players and the CPU.

I think when they patched the game to appease FUTers, the end-to-end style lead to midfield players (in particular) switching between attacking and defending mindsets at the drop of a hat, and often incorrectly. Which results in loose ball ADD, and your CPU teammates seemingly not understanding the situation, or if it's a 50/50 ball, etc.

It doesn't really affect the CPU teams because all their passes are programmed and their overall play lacks that randomness.

I doubt this will be a problem in FIFA 17, because they're going to go back to the all-out arcade style we saw in 15. It's what the youtubers want.

I'm losing my mind over this AI. They are SO stupid!!!! My players are literally avoiding passes from me and the defense has No ****ing idea what to do

I've now played few seasos with world class and can confirm that the sole difficulty comes from the stupidity of your ai teammates

Yeah, same here. I've moved back to pro (or whatever it's called) and have the sliders so my players are less skilled and slower... rather than stupid. I can handle poor one touch, but not poor sense of direction and purpose.
