Last year? As in FIFA 15? Surely not.

One Brazilian youtuber recently played FIFA 17 and his first complaint was the game was slower... Let's hope EA keeps it that way...

Lol okay, that threw me off, especially coming from you, man! Yes, I wouldn't be surprised. We may get a solid showing out of the box, but 3 or 4 patch updates later...well...we will see.

I remember FIFA 15 demo was slower than FIFA 14 aaaaaaaaaand then EA sped it up with a patch, I see them doing this again as EA's history often repeates itself.

The comment about the CPU holding the ball too long has me worried. Did they make the game more arcade again? Also, who are these fans that are complaining about that? Does EA just feel like simulation is not the way to go?

To be fair, it is a valid complaint that lower level teams play too much like Barca/Bayern, both in terms of style and skill. Those teams should be parking the bus or playing long ball when they are playing against bigger clubs, not keeping possession with 95% pass accuracy.

Of course, EA's response won't be to enhance team tactics. They will just make every CPU team more direct, a la FIFA 15.

I wonder if all players will have the ability to intelligently position themselves and make smarter runs? Will there be dumb runs? From players with a low attack position rating.. hope so, we don't need 90' of perfect runs.
