FIFA 17 Gameplay Changes: How Can Each Be a Success?

We’re still over two months away from FIFA 17’s official release but the developers over at EA Canada are slowly starting to build up momentum for what should be another solid game of footy. Sure the spoon-fed approach taken by EA’s marketing team can be tough in a genre that lives and breathes instant gratification, but realistically speaking, we cannot expect EA to spill all of the beans this early in the release cycle. It’s with that in mind that we’ll take a look at the gameplay changes we can expect to see in FIFA 17.

The AI is really the biggest thing for me, period. If they can achieve a more organic feel to the gameplay, where teams feel considerably different based on their tactics and personnel, then I'm 100% in. I love the small changes as well, but this one is a make or break I think, unless PES turns out to be a goal fest again, which I'm desperately hoping isn't the case.

I think EA are too scared to really allow tactics for each team to be full implemented because they fear people will employ crazy, unbalanced tactics online, and FUTers will complain about it. So they mute the effects, and make it rather vanilla.

Edit: not that it matters really, because offline players haven't been allowed to assign custom tactics to the CPU for years. Apparently that ability is just asking too much ...

That's a stretch IMO, to me it's obvious it's the GOAT Buffon but I'm a Juve fan so...
