Anyone "seen" any career mode videos? Or if, by some odd confusion, Camp Nou is still in the game?

I'm pretty sure Camp Nou is exclusive to PES again this year

I guess this might be hidden/omitted at this stage - but has anyone noticed in any of the teams if silhouetted players are still there? Or have they got computer faces or anything now?

Camp Nou is not on the game- based on a video that I saw. No Olympic Stadium yet for West Ham either based the video. Barca plays at El Liberator I believe- from the video I saw. It looks like many player pictures and player ratings have not yet been updated for the beta- Chaplin for Portsmouth is still a silhouette for instance- judging by the video I saw. One gameplay tidbit that I observed on this video- I saw somebody was down 1-0 late in the game and switched tactically to all-out attack. Last year, you could play all-out attack the entire game w/ little risk. Well, this person was highly exposed at the back and a turnover led to a two on one that the CPU smartly executed and finished to go up 2-0.

From the video on youtube it looked like gamespeed was slower and pace mattered more. Star players feel like they have unique abilities and teams seem to try to work their attack through them.

One thing was field swaps were toned down and the cpu spends more time over the ball instead of constantly pinging passes around raising their pass completion stats without posing a threat.

It also looks like it's finally ok to let the cpu shoot as there are way less 2 shots 2 goals cpu stat lines. Also the cpu just shoots more in general, they don't try to just use the wings over and over oh and wow, the cpu actually finesse shot!

What shocked me most in the video was the cpu was using our dribbling toolkit and did stepovers and body feints instead of using their exclusive jinky deft ole moves constantly. I saw reus go on a beautiful dribbling run, took on two defenders and then carried the ball into space forcing the user D to make on the fly zonal adjustments! It looked like reality.

But what floored me was when the user on the video changed team tactics and they finally made a difference! No more accrington stanley cpu playing like barca!

On all difficulty levels EA finally stepped up and stopped making the users teammates become more and more idiotic as the difficulty increased. 3 cheers for your team actually playing together on higher difficulties!

Oh and match practice was added back in!!!!!

The through ball changes are not op in the video.

But what made my soul happy was in the 3 matches in the video...wait for it...oh man...I can barely contain my excitement...the woodwork was only hit twice.
Wow, that must have been some video
Knowing that you pull no punches when you review these videos, my hype meter for the game has just exploded.

IDK, in the videos i saw, I did indeed see a couple of rebound goals. But I also saw the keeper push some low driven shots around the post for a corner which looked really nice. I think there's a few new one handed save animations.

And yeah, in the video I saw, the new corner system is OP. But, I think you can still do it the old way if you think it's too easy.

              And no Camp Nou...

What I saw in a video was it looked like J League was the only new league.

They started a career with Man United and their first two international offers were Poland and Scotland. And I can't be sure, but I think I saw it looked like they added a country or two to scout in Africa. I'll have to pay more attention to the video next time.

Not sure if this is on purpose, but has anyone else noticed the player ratings before you start a game are drastically different from what they are in-game?

For example, I went into the game with Diouf as my ST at like a 75 overall. I went to make subs later and noticed his overall was now a 58. It was like this across the board, both for starters and subs. Everyone's overall was roughly 20 points lower.

Yeah, I even saw Messi with 86 rating in a youtube video. I suppose they included dynamic ratings this year. Fatigue is kicking in too, lots of red bars...

Yea I think just the overall it gives is messed up. If you look at their individual stats they are correct, or at least closer to what they will likely be at release.

*In 5 quick games last night I saw a lot of improvements, especially in how the game looks. At one point I saw grass stains on Iniesta's elbow, stadium lighting looks great, most, if not all, player faces are improved, refs seemed to give out cards when it was appropriate-saw lots of yellows for bad tackles and even a red for a very bad challenge that would've been a yellow in 16.

Hitting the post does seem like it still happens too often and the animation where you jump over a slide tackle and slow down which causes you to lose the ball 90% of the time is still in. Seemed like gk play was improved but it could've just been poor finishing as well. Shooting feels much more natural this year. I saw a few long shots and did not hit the upper corner once but did send a few in the stands and one that was saved that was closer to the bottom. It looked like Neymar dribbling at full sprint looked different than when Messi was at full sprint but I'll need to look more carefully next time.

*all based on a video I saw obviously

Over in the EA fifa beta forum last year they figured out the timeline.

I would assume it's very much the same this year.

The beta is a game build compiled around late May-Early June.
The gamescom demo is a build from Late June-Early July.

The ratings were weird last beta too. Same with missing art. When the beta forum was inundated with wrong kit, missing kit, no photo for this player posts the mods finally stated what the beta builds origin date was.

gameplay stream not live but still there

This guy playing tries and fails skilling too much. I always see the easy pass sitting there waiting for him and instead he tries to flip flap or roulette

I do like how the CPU looks more assertive on offense. Seen some shots taken from farther out and when the opportunity arises. If the CPU quits trying to get it into the 6 box before shooting or just constantly only crashing the wings like in 16 that would be really nice.

It was quick, but I saw a video that showed scouts finding YA players diverse heights. Saw a few 6'2, 6'4, and some 5'11 scouted players signed to YA. Pretty cool stuff.

Are we allowed to post videos and stuff to YouTube or will they be taken down? I've never been selected for a beta before so I'm not entirely sure how that works, but if I can, I'll throw together a few videos when I see some cool stuff in my games.
