    IS PLAY NOW/FRIENDLY THE ONLY WAY TO DO CPU VS CPU????

    I wanted to do tournaments - or create a league.... or something like that and not really be a team - but just be a commissioner setting the rules/etc and watch games. Is this possible in any mode besides just a friendly???

      Only available in 'Play Now' mode in FIFA 16.

          I do not believe it is possible in FIFA if you want all the games played in the tournament to be CPU vs CPU games. I believe the only way play a tournament is to be in control one team and all the other games this team does not play in would be simmed behind the scenes without you ever being allowed to watch them. Honestly I don't understand why some game makers do this while other game makers makes it really easy to control all the teams in a league and give you the choice of actually playing the games or just sitting back and watching the CPU teams play.

              I was able to modify my PC FIFA 16 installation to allow me to play CPU vs CPU games in tournament and career modes. Like anything whenever you are modifying your game, back it up first before you apply the mods. Things went seamless for me this time around, but I have made mistakes applying the mods in the past and restoring from the backup saved my bacon.
