No "Request Funds" Option in Career Mode This Year

Not sure why this got taken out. It is a realistic, essential part of career mode that has always been in the game. It was not in the Beta and everyone that I knew, including myself, mentioned it to EA during beta test Q&A. Somehow it still has not made it into the game.

Is there anyone that has the ear of the devs that could reach out to them about this? This is a HUGE exclusion from career mode.

If this is true, it's a huge oversight indeed.

You could always get 10-15 mil about 5 times a season

10-15 million, FIVE times a season?

I can see one time a year, but 5 is crazy. Unless you're playing for a mega club, that's not happening.

I'm not saying you should be able to. I was just responding to the dude that said you couldn't ever get money because you could and often if you wanted to in years past

I rarely tried using it, and generally when I did I was denied. But its really dumb they removed it.

Really depends on the club you're playing with. I almost always got denied, or only allowed a small amount 500k to 1 mil when I asked. But only once a year.

They also took off the setting to adjust how much money you got from selling players. From my brief play last night I was getting almost the full amount.

instead they give us objectives that we have no way of impacting. especially the financial ones.

It wasn't really that realistic anyway. It sucks for League 2 teams like I like to use but it makes it more difficult. Which personally I don't mind as long as I get a decent increase for accomplishing goals. Even all that said, it's still weird they took it out.

I noticed that, was playing career in FIFA 15 last week which had request funds and then went into FIFA 17 after and noticed no such option, but they have "board expectations" instead.

I am playing through as Swansea and I won both cups and am making a deep run in the Euro League (placed myself in there to have some extra games) and I am 1st in the premier league with only a couple games left and every week I get an email saying my team isn't meeting the goals that they set out for me... which I clearly have.

Many people told them in the BETA that this also wasn't tuned properly and they ALSO didn't listen to that feedback. Not sure what the point of the BETA was because almost nothing actually got fixed. For a game this big to have such pathetic interaction in the community from the devs is awful. Madden may be an inferior game, but those devs work to get the feedback of the community. I have never seen a fifa dev respond to the community being upset about the bugs that they leave in the game.

I haven't played much into career mode, but it looks as if your transfer budget increases as the club makes money. This may be why the option was removed.

Not if you are a small team it doesn't
