On another note, the FA Cup graphics look so good--which further my amazement of the generic graphics for the PL..

Yeah the FA Cup presentation is great. Very well done. But the lack of the PL presentation is a huge omission. Not holding my breath for it to be patched in.

Me either, unfortunately. They even have the PL "thing" they walk through when coming onto the pitch.

Unfortunately, EA makes a ton of money via Ultimate Team and therefore caters to online gamers rather than offline.

I'd love for EA to steal a page from the 2K business model and have an open dialogue with the community. Mike Wang of NBA 2K is all over these forums listening to feedback and responding. It's refreshing.

This premier league issue reminds me of the time in 2006 when EA bought the ESPN license and didn't use it in any of their games untill ncaa football 2011.

At this point I'm 100% certain it won't be in the game because they would've shown it and talked about it since E3. The FA cup is in and that's all we're getting this year.. Case closed.

Nothing. We were holding out hope that it would be a day 1 patch when the game dropped outside of the US, but nothing. No communication either on EA's part. Such a shame.

I'm sure EA sees no incentive in being upfront about this, other than honesty/transparency. And it's not like there's some huge outcry over this. Twitter is nothing but people trying to build their YouTube/Twitch channels with pack openings and The Journey. The opinions of sim players on forums like this mean nothing to them.

I don't see anything in their specifically stating EA will add it. I swear, PES is more responsive to their community than FIFA these days. They would rather hide behind the noise of FUT pack openings on Twitter than address the absence of a feature that they bragged about the last few years.
