We had a goal of capturing 15 of the possible 21 points available to us in the League schedule, which would have been good enough to put us near the top of the table, instead we find ourself lingering in 8th after an up and down start to the season.

We have 5 league games in the month of October where we will look to Capture 11 of the possible 15 points. We have several tough match ups. Levante is currently top of the table.

Sucks we have to go to Lugo twice in one week but we will look to get past them in the cup and make it to the round of 32.

How's your FIFA career mode going?

I bought FIFA 17 recently and am trying to decide which team I want to start a career with. I've played a few FIFA games in the past but am unfamiliar with a lot of teams. I want to pick an English team but I'm not sure if I want to pick a lower level Premier League team and try to build them up to compete with the bigs or pick an EFL Championship team and try to get them promoted to the Premiere league.
Anybody doing something similar to what I'm trying to do? And if so which team did you pick?

I decided on QPR for my manager career, has stadium in game, to see if can bring back to EPL. As always, like to bring in a few US international players into squad; Julian Green and Christian Pulisic. It has been a up and down start, so far so good in english cup play. top 8 in championship. All kinds of results, even two scoreless draws. Playing 10 min default world class.

They really should be right up there with Spurs, taking everything into account. Some pretty spectacular mismanagement over there at St. James this past decade.

The goals finally came at home, in back to back wins against Blackburn and Newcastle, 4-2 and 3-1 wins, before that I was 24th in league in goals scored. Also went from 11th to 4th on table. Pulisic is quickly becoming a menace in the midfield and getting attack going more consistent. Variety of games have been solid so far and fun.

The Mini Madrid derby of the 2nd tier didn't go well. Was a complete embarrassment at home. I switched from a 4-3-3 to diamond midfield with 2 strikers. 4-1-2-1-2 and went from TRYING to play like Real Madrid to playing like Atletico Madrid.

We lost two games in the league on iffy pen calls @ Lugo & vs Oviedo. Since the Getafe loss, we've gone on a streak of 6 games with only 1 goal conceded from the run of play, that was at Levante. The formation change has worked great and I feel we've found an identity that will propel us forward.

We want to capture 9 of the 12 points available to us in the league. We need a tough win @ Elche to get us bad on track.

I'm right there with you. When I was a kid, one of my first kits I got was that beautiful Newcastle shirt. Still have it to this day and I love it. Think it was from the late 90's, they have always had great kits, and St James' as you pointed out is a fantastic stadium. Really captures the English football spirit. Newcastle is always a team I take in FIFA and in FM and build them to what they should be.
