Is there a list or some such which players are pronounced by the commentators during the game and when announcing the lineup (Btw. I'm really surprised that neither Martial nor Rashford get mentioned during the lineups...)? It would really make managing a young team a hell of a lot easier if I didn't get the silent treatment during lineups and most of the game...

i wish there was a list. you can get a list of real faces at sofifa.com ... but no commentary name database exists that i know of.
fifa hasn't updated much by this way since 2014. it's one area really lacking. the long silences in commentary with all these no-name players really kills immersion.
so too does the limited real faces. for a title to sell 20+ million like fifa does they really need to hire a bigger art department and just have them do faces for 12 months. imo 75% of players could have their faces done if ea got serious for fifa 18 -

That sucks. Well from my experience the commentators do pronounce Bruma and Donnarumma and mention their names in the team sheet. They do mention Rashford, Lewis Cook, Bailey and Iheanacho but do not mention their names on the team sheet. No pronounciation for Tah, Nagy, Reece-Oxford, Tammy Abrahams, Mbappe-Lottin, Matheus Pereira, Breel Donald Embolo, Alban Lafont, Vincent Koziello, Onomah, Fosu-Mensah, Riedewald, Cornet. Anybody else?Comment

harry winks, gershon koffie, just about all of the newcastle, norwich, qpr, villa and derby line ups.
federici, jon flanagan, Kiyotake, kyle bennett, ryan bennett, callum chambers, ward prowse ...
as for the ones he doesn't say, we'll be here to christmas naming names. hahaComment
