    lol sounds like you've ruined the game for yourself. So how do you know when you haven't been cheated? give me the breakdown of whats a "i got cheated loss" and whats a "real" loss?

    if they score a header from a corner you conceded past the 85th minute, thats a "i got cheated loss?" lol Because that happens literally every week.

    just an FYI, most leagues are decided in the final games, when else would they be decided? & No actually you only win the league cuz you restart when you feel "cheated"

      i think i found why i'm never able to win my leagues. i let the cpu cheat me and get away with it. i'm a victim of the system. =p

        This was in Fifa 16 as well...and I wouldn't be surprised if it was in earlier iterations. I remember a thread popping up about this last year.

        It's just EA being EA, right?

          Well, if I concede a goal because of my mistake, I accept it. If I concede a goal which I couldn't have prevented, I don't accept it.

          And most of the time these 85+ minute goals come because of AI mistakes if they come at all.

          Then you can just tell it's the rubberband effect and there was nothing you could do.

          So I don't think I've ruined anything for me if I like it this way.

          Restart option is gold too, because if indeed these mistakes can be prevented and it's all been on me all along, I get better by restarting the matches and eventually I should be good enough to beat the AI no matter what happens.

          So, it's a win win for me

            well, i can't say for sure. it might be.

            probably too hard for them to do this properly like pes does.

              ninthfall, you should start a petition for fifa to have checkpoints every 10 seconds like in adventure games.

                But even in PES there is an increased chance of a perfect cross->perfect header->goal scenario once you took the lead...
                Things like these are in ALL sports games....for a reason.
                Its just a question of disguise and execution (thats the part where Fifa is lacking).

                    If the team puts together a great play, a great peice of skill, a great header, a fantastic shot that you can't prevent from going in, you don't accecpt it? you do realize any time a team scores a goal its because the other team didn't prevent it? Like every single goal.

                    quite frankly I don't think the OP has anything to do with what you're talking about or your problem. Because with your playstyle and mindset I think you would restart the games if there was no adaptive difficulty whenever you felt cheated still.

                    and no the restart option is stupid, but hey its a win win, you keep winning them virtual leagues.

                      Why do you have such a big issue with my style of play? It's nothing away from you. I don't care if you like the restart button, if you don't, then don't use it.

                      I'm not stupid. I can tell a great play, I can tell when the opposite just does things well. It's not like I use the restart option often, I use it when I feel I need to use it. And it's not like I use it to win the game, I've used restart button and still lost and accepted the loss.

                      Now please stop driving this argument more towards off-topic and move on from my style of play, thanks.

                        I don't have to do anything. You posted on this thread. I replied. I don't think your problems have anything to do with adaptive AI and more with you mentality & playstyle. Thats probably why the discussion has turned to your playstyle? Probably. & quit making it like I'm attacking you personally, I'm not.

                        I asked you a question. You ignored it or answered it very vaguely I guess. But it was your own words, if I can't prevent it, I don't accept it.

                        never said you were. I want to talk about the goals that you can't prevent. Like thats not how sports work, "Hey I don't like that, that didn't live up to my standards, I feel cheated, lets restart."

                          Semi-related to this topic: couple of days ago I won a match 6-1 on professional difficulty, playing as Barca against a 2nd division Spanish team, and after the match a window popped up saying I had mastered Professional difficulty, and that I should move up to World Class.

                          EA's programming logic is that every match should have a competitive scoreline, regardless of team talent level. That is clearly a flawed way to look at things

                            Do those output numbers mean the decreased % in players ratings?

                            Did you find any similar rules to balance games between high rating teams against very low ones? I find it so ridiculous how every game between any team you choose always balances itself by boosting weaker players and lessen the stronger ones. Doesn't matter if you are playing a 5 star teams vs a 1 star.

                            I am trying to fight this issue (http://www.operationsports.com/forum...n-sliders.html) but until now without any success.

                              I've not looked into it much more honestly, I've been getting irritated with the lack of modding ability and the rage inducing refusal to update the catalogue on PC. Kind of killed my desire to play.

                                This in my opinion should be the main focus of further offline gameplay updates. It does appear that EA wants the scoreline (as someone already stated) to stay competitive no matter who you're up against. It should feel different playing against tougher teams and easier teams
