Re: Downside to using an MLS team...
What I've done before is move all MLS to Argentina league & kept 10 Argentinian teams to mix it up a bit & then yes you still play in copa Latin America or whatever they call it in FIFA [emoji2]

Re: Downside to using an MLS team...
There is 20 teams in Italy's league 1; so eventually the league will be a blend of Italian teams and MLS teams... but it's worth it. The Calcio A is now in the old MLS land.
Given most of Calcio B is 3* - 3 1/2*, things should stay competitive overall without the Italian teams getting too dominant. I'll post again in a few days to give some input on how it goes.Comment

I put all MLS teams in French Ligue 1 and Liga MX teams in French Ligue 2. Its cool to see the promotions and relegations as years go byComment
