In 2013 PES had all of the La LIga stadiums, the next year FIFA bought an exclusive license for Camp Nou force PES to lose all of their Spanish stadiums. They never added a single Spanish stadium themselves, just did it to block PES. In 2016 EA was awarded an exclusive license for La Liga, again to spite PES. But they failed to secure the stadiums or again add a single one. PES retaliated by gaining an exclusive license for Camp Nou  and now have blocked FIFA form the Mestalla. EA remains the worst video game company there is. Their business practices are dirty and hurt consumers. I will not be supporting them.

It's crazy that PES, if they do get the Mestalla, will have more licensed stadiums in La Liga than FIFA, and La Liga's not even licensed in PES.  You're right HenryClay, the only reason EA keeps getting all these exclusive licenses is so PES can't have them. The only one EA really cares about is the Premier League. Now in return, Konami is starting to do the same things to EA, but in the end, the consumers are the losers. There's no reason whatsoever other than greed that both companies can't share these licenses.

It's crazy that PES, if they do get the Mestalla, will have more licensed stadiums in La Liga than FIFA, and La Liga's not even licensed in PES. *You're right HenryClay, the only reason EA keeps getting all these exclusive licenses is so PES can't have them. I dream of a world where every major league is completely licensed by both companies and they just compete on gameplay and graphics.

To dream is fine, realism is better. Of course, it's about money, but I'm just missing an important factor, greedy clubs and leagues, they're just as important a part of it.

Loved this. Nice set of videos that show how the Frostbite Engine has been brought to bear this year. Nice to see some MLS love.

Videos look great. Only thing that sticks out to me on the negative side is that it really makes me realize I'm tired of the same 2 commentators, every year. It's just gotten really stale. It's also really strange hearing them call matches in certain leagues. I understand WHY they only use 2, but it just doesn't fit.

People complained for years about EA not giving offline players enough (because of the focus on FUT), and their main response was the Alex Hunter story mode. Now it's like 95% of their offline focus is on that, while most offline players just want more stadiums, licenses, career mode stuff. Seems crazy to only had 4 stadiums with all that EA money.

We also lost Creation Centre and the Match of the Week games, both of which added a lot to the offline experience.

I don't understand why EA insists to hang on to Donbass Arena when the stadium has been closed since 2014 after being destroyed by bombs during a conflict and there is no time table for reopening as far as I've searched. Removing that stadium could bring another European stadium!

Removing a stadium doesn't mean it magically opens up a spot for a new stadium. It's all about licensing and the rights. Not a space issue at this point. Not to mention that Shakthar want to use Donbass again. It wasn't destroyed, it was damaged. But it's repairable. The problem is that it's in a contested area of Ukraine.

That is awesome. As a Forest supporter, this will add more life/authenticity to career mode.

I wonder if it's just the Championship or if League 1 and 2 are there as well.
