EA just released a patch for a Madden that included HDR support, so I'd say it's likely for FIFA 18 as well.

There's HDR for the demo so yeah, it will be in. It looks incredible on my 60" Samsung KS8000. You need to research online to find the appropriate settings for HDR on your specific TV. I found the settings for my model on YouTube.

And if you have a Samsung don't use HDR+ - it is NOT HDR!

What are your screenshots above showing? The top screenshot looks vibrant, the other is dull, but which one has HDR on?

I've found the daytime games with HDR on look awful.

There is an HDR brightness configuration option if you pause the game and go to customise menu, however that doesn't really seem to fix the issue, it seems to be somewhat broken, as all other games appear fine, and the colours within the in-game menus are fine, its just the gameplay (players, grass etc.) that appears very dull, regardless of HDR brightness setting.

Maybe I need to adjust my settings BUT the demo looks better on my Day 1 XB1 than it does on my PS4 Pro/4K TV.

Maybe I need to tweak the settings on my TV, idk.

I messed with my settings quite a bit last night, but I'm definitely liking the look on my XBox One S better than my PS4 Pro. I have both hooked up to my 4K TV, but the One S version is more vibrant with better lighting. Don't get me wrong, they both look great. I was planning on getting the XBox One version anyway because I have that system in two different rooms and it's just easier that way. But if it looked better on the Pro, I was contemplating getting both versions. I'll happily stick with the XBox One for this game! Of course it helps to get the 10% EA Access discount too!

My issue is that with the right stadium and time of day settings the game looks great. With the wrong time of day and in stadiums like La Bomb.. or King Fahad it looks horrible. Chelsea kits are too dark and City are too faded. Hope it's just a demo issue

I'm seeing the 'City are too faded' issue with the real game / PS4 Pro / 4K HDR. I read something about EA implementing different lighting filters for different parts of the world, perhaps that is behind it.

Other than that I'm completely new to the 4K HDR TV, if anybody can provide configuration tips that would be appreciated.
