Scoring Goals & Formation Changes
For whatever reason this year I’m struggling to score goals. I play with arsenal and I’m only playing on pro and I feel like once I get near the box the CPU is all over me and idk what to do. Is there certain types of passes or moves I should try to open this up?

Re: Scoring Goals & Formation Changes
Try to aim for the long corner. Near post shots don't go in that much anymore like in previous FIFAs. Don't finesse (R1/RT + shoot button) if you take a shot outside the box. Bang that thing by only pressing the shoot button.Comment

Re: Scoring Goals & Formation Changes
I'm on semi-pro difficulty and I was struggling to score goals as well. I went to 4-4-3 Attack and 4-4-1-1 formations and it helped. Both of these formations are pretty good and I'm leaning more towards 4-4-1-1 over the last couple of days as it seems better defensively as well.
Since I started using these formations I'm able to score anywhere from 2-5 goals a game (8 mins half, default sliders, semi-pro difficulty).Comment

Re: Scoring Goals & Formation Changes
I use Leicester City's formation (but push one of the mid fielders up a bit more as a CAM) and tactics. I really like it since it suits my style of place of quick and fast hitting counters. And even then, if I realize I can't do the counter, it is decent enough to just pass and do some possession. It's not the primary purpose of the formation/tactics, but when I can't break off I do it and it works.
Gets a little tough when the AI presses you, but that's when you need to get used to your quick one two passing to open them up.Comment
