How do you select custom tactics in switch?

I know it says pressing the directional buttons top left right bottom, but when i do press those buttons in game, i see off side trap or cb join attack stuff like these not custom tactics of high pressure or possession etc, please someone help thanks!

Offside trap and cb join attack take effect immediately and only work short term. I'm still not sure how tactics like high pressure and long ball stay in effect. They do seem to work immediately, but I've noticed they're not always selected in the custom tactics menu. I know they replace your default or custom tactics.

on ps4, you can choose which custom tactics you want, like I go into team setting, click high pressure instead of default team tactics, then is good.

but for switch, i m nt sure whats happening, i can't change the custom tactics like i do on ps4, so i don' t know how to select anymore...I am talking about high pressure those ones, not cb join attack, thx

Are you asking how to change tactics during a game using the dpad? High pressure and counterattacking tactics can be selected by pressing down on the dpad.
