    One question

I stopped buying FIFA because in career mode it was inevitable I would get fired and there was no option to turn off the firing.

Did they finally put an on/off for getting fired or is it still the same?

No it's still the same as far as I am aware.

Why was it inevitable you would get fired by the way?

How do you even get fired? In older FIFAs it could definitely happen that you could get fired even with good results. But in the newer FIFAs you basically have to lose every game to get even close to a firing.

Someone did an experiment on how quickly you can get fired in FIFA 18 career mode. He started with Bayern who have high expectations and targets of course. He sold all good players, brought in new low-level players. Had terrible games throughout all competetions, manager rating was always very low (> 40 most of the time) and he only got fired in February/March. Should've been fired in the winter break or even earlier.

Long story short: it's actually pretty hard to get fired.

I quit playing it at the time when you were guaranteed to get fired eventually, wasn't aware they had changed it.
        Thanks for the reply.

Okay. But i feel you and get your point. All football simulations (Football Manager, FIFA Manager etc.) have those options. Why they can't put it in a console game is beyond me.
