    Match Re-scheduling

Does anyone else find the Match Re-scheduling in the Premier League a bit annoying? Mostly it's due to scheduling Cup matching but in the FA Cup there are dedicated weekends to it but I still have other matches re-scheduled that don't interfere with the Cup Match. It usually ends up resulting in a whole cluster of matches days apart further down the line and it tires my team out.

Are they rescheduled though because your opponents may have cup matches or champions league/europa league play? Personally I don't a problem with it. Part of the rant Rafa Benitez had about scheduling a boat load of EPL, cup and euro league games then to send his players out for international duty too.

I agree. The match rescheduling due to cup wins/losses is insane. I'm sure it's hard logic to put in so I just shrug it off. I find it really funny though. The worst (funniest) rescheduling I've seen happened in my Chelsea CM as I was playing through it a few weeks ago. Here was my 5 day schedule,

      Wednesday - @Barcelona (Champions Cup),
      Thursday - Day off
Friday - @Manchester United (Premier League)
      Saturday - day off
      Sunday - @Liverpool (FA Cup).

Nothing like playing 3 of the best teams in the world on the road in a 5 day stretch.
      NHL-Minnesota Wild
      NHL-San Jose Sharks
      MLB-Minnesota Twins
      NFL-Minnesota Vikings
      NCAAF-Michigan Wolverines
      NCAAH-St. Cloud State Huskies
      Soccer-Chelsea

I don't believe so. I'm at a point in the season where all of those kind of matches would take place during the week and I'm getting Saturday matches re-scheduled for a month later mid-week. I've had it results in situations similar to above where I have 3 matches in 5 days. Usually by the 3rd day my players are sluggish and injury prone.

Also, the match that was re-scheduled just resulted in a weekend with no matches for my team.

I made a super league in La Liga this year because of their broadcast package being so sick and I've noticed it in that league too. There's only one league cup so it's no quite as bad but still rough. Go Phillies!

But most importantly this weekend... Go Eagles!

That's rough. IRL that Friday match would have been pushed to Sat with the FA Cup tie moved mid-week.

This has to be one of the more difficult aspects to program.
